Tenth month, Sixth day
Year Two of the Recent Awakenings
Lady Amoret's Social
Good denizens of the castle,
In service to the Lord Chamberlain, and with the deepest respect for his position and rank in this castle, in the mere hopes to only prove myself of assistance to the esteemed guests of the castle, at the will and command of His Lordship, I humbly scribe of Lady Amoret's social of the Inner Bailey.
These monthly socials have been arranged by Her Ladyship to greater aquaint the honored denizens that resided within the walls of the Inner Bailey, and to promote amity and concord within them. Many attended this social, in which Her Ladyship announced she would name the social henceforce of a title that would be suggested from the guests attending. She further mentioned that the personage to whose suggestion Her Ladyship would accept for the social would be allowed to bring another from the Outer Bailey as her guest to the next social.
A skillful dance was arranged by Sansamor and his troupe, and this most impressed Her Ladyship. Ser Sansamor then gifted to Her Ladyship a bonquet of flowers in the hue of yellow - one of the Lady's favorite colors. She thanked the dancemaster gracefully, and inquired into how often the troupe had practiced the dance before they presented it into the social, and many assembled seemed quite surprised when they learned that the troupe had only practiced once before.
Her Ladyship then presented a gift to one from the Outer Bailey, a certain Seeker Aleena and Seeker of the Faith of Natura Balancus, of a cream pouch that seemed to contain a material that sparkled and dazzled those whom watched the good Seeker spread the colorful dust within the pouch.
Whereupon Her Ladyship retired into the balcony adjoining from the Grand Ballroom of Inner Bailey to ponder her decision the names suggested by the guests for her social. She took longest to decide between two names that seemed most impressive to her, and finally announced that sera Margaret would have the honor to invite one from the Outer Bailey to grace the next Social Serenade.
The Chronicler begs forgiveness from any error that he may have made in this Chronicle, and humbly asks only to be informed of his mistake so that he may correct it.
--
With the aid of the good ser Martel, I most humbly apologize for an error of incompleteness that I made in overhaste, and I wish to express my deepest gratitude to the good Duelist for his notification. Sera Aleena is not only a Seeker of the Faith of Natura Balancus, but also a Duelist herself and a dancer with ser Sansamor's troupe. Further, it was because of these qualities that ser Martel, a Honored Guest under Her Majesty's will, sought to have her in Her Ladyship's social that fine evening.
With respect,
Ser Angron Drakefyre
