Year Two of the Recent Awakenings
The Incidence of Ghosts in the Sorcereress's Courtyard
To the Denizens of Marrach,
In accordance to the will of the Lord Chamberlain, I humbly offer you this somewhat personal account of two linked incidences that happened during a conversation I was having with the Honored Guest Ra'Dorcha.
We were talking out in the courtyard that connects the main Inner Bailey with that the Lady Serista's Tower. As we had conversed, we heard some footsteps in the courtyard. We counted them, eight steps total. However, both of us look around and found no one.
Then much later on, we both saw a shadowy figure of a man, slipping and sliding around the Sorcereress's Tower armed with a lockpick. He came up to the door of the tower, and attempted to pick the lock. He then faded away, and as best as we could determine, the lock had not been successfully opened.
After we determined that the Sorcereress's Tower's lock had not been breached, we both left.
