Well, the footpad hit you so hard that there was a time vortex thingy, causing you to actually die before he struck the blow. Uglies attracted to infamies of 750+ can do that. ;)

But....none of their rolls were over their success and I killed the footpad after I died from not being hit....it boggles the mind.

I've seen lag like that before actually. It usually happens when I get multiple spawns yet nobody shows up for a full minute. Then I get hit by things I can't see and often die. Very annoying.

In All seirousness, that's happened to me before. It's the lag, if you've ever lag fought a friend, you don't always have to hit to kill them sometimes they just... die. So maybe you hit so fast that even you don't know you hit??
