View Full Version : Investing favors in buildings

I got a surprise when I invested favor in one of my clan's buildings. Apparently, any favors invested count toward raising your level.

I don't know if it's supposed to be this way. (I'm about to @report it just in case.) But you might want to consider this before adding lots of favors to your favorite structure.

(By the way, for those who missed today's event, you can use "favor" within a structure to invest a favor. For the favor to be useful, though, a builder must command a grunt to upgrade the structure. The "upgrades" command lets you see what's invested. But it can take 25-50 favors to make a difference.)

Another problem is that upgrading is actually bugged. It will give you the standard error message.

What's great about this change is that it drastically increases the potential power of a clanned social. Once you get all the skills you can and raise them to 1000 there will still be plenty of structures that can be worked on. (Was it the skills that had the 1000 rank limit or the attributes? Anyone remember?)

Of course, it's still bugged...

Even more than when you reach your limit, consider the following:

You have a clan leader, below the clan's leader is a leader of all the builders. Of builders, let's say you have five trappers just to randomly pick a number.

You build the Tinker's workshop. All 7 of these people invest 10 favors into it. That's 70 favors. So where each of the trappers could have improved their own ability by 10, you get a more combined and bigger bang for your buck. Though I'd imagine it isn't a one-to-one comparison of investing a favor into a structure and into an ability, but as clan's grow, as older members leave, structured favors can change a lair into a dungeon.

We've fixed the small bug with upgrading. You should have no problem upgrading your structures now.

And both abilities and attributes are capped at 1000, as well as structures.

the bug's back again, woodz. Reported it by the way.

Also, is upgrading MENT to increase your level?

We fixed a couple of bugs with the structure upgrades. Upgrading should not increase your level AND, that other bug that you mentioned, Lurekus, has been squished.

Cheers!
