The Mining Ability

The mining ability doesn't seem to help in mining besides building the initial mine. Based on this perception I'm wondering what plans there are for this ability as it's almost exactly like basic structures.

I'd also like to say I really appreciate the replies I recieved to earlier posts and would love an answer to this one. I think this is an important question.

I believe the miners get the basic structures a different levels than basic structures, but I could be wrong...

They do... That's why I wrote "almost". Additionally they get the structures at a higher level. And it's still not certain that they'll get all the strutures that basic can get.

heh. Mining is a VERY good ability. I wont go into detail, but i'll tell you a little piece of info. Mining gives both basic and advanced structures...

Which must mean that they won't get all the structures of basic structures. Alright, that's a piece of the puzzle.
