In accordance to the Will of the Lord Chamberlain, and to hopefully serve the denizen of the Castle better, I present to you a Chronicle about The Audience with Her Majesty, Queen Vivienne.

Tonight, Her Majesty, Queen Vivienne, held an audience with those who are of the status of Honored Guest and above. Over sixty Nobles, Courtiers, Honored Guests attended this function. Jester Dagonet already was there to entertain the arriving guest into the ballroom.

After close to half an hour of waiting for her arrival, Sir Launfal arrived and stood on the Royal Dias to announce, "Please guests of the Winter Court, I wish to welcome you to tonights special occassion."

A few moments after that, Herald Stix announced, "Lords and Ladies, gentles, all. I present to you, Her Majesty, Our Queen Vivienne."

After the Arrival of the Court, which included the Royal Family, Handmaidens Isaria and Alacia, Her Majesty's Personal Secretary, Sera Astana, Sir Alrik, and Dame Rosemarie.

"Member of the Court," began Sir Launfal, "denizens and guests, I would like at this time to draw your attention to the individual whom we have gathered here this evening to both celebrate and honor. Though, verily, it is His Highness Prince Bertram that has brought us together for this festive Celebration, and to him, we give ever-thanks."

His Lordship asked the First Acolyte, Sera Charmiam to approach the Dais. Her Majesty extended her hands and gestured the First Acolyte to her.

"Beloved guests, We thank you all your presence on this most auspicious night. It is with great joy and honor that we present to you, the denizens of Castle Marrach, the First Acolyte of the Faith, Charmiam, as we have known her these many months," said Her Majesty, "As one of the first to have awoken in the recent time of New Awakenings, the First Acolyte has ever shown great Virtue to all whom have had the privilege to know her. As many are well aware, the entirety of her life in Castle Marrach has been dedicated to the path of Natura Balanus, extending her giving nature through the counsel and advice of the many Seekers of the Faith.

"Even during the darkest of hours, our First Acolyte has given of herself unto Our guests, to share their burdens and to aid them in their strife. The most recent passing of our cherished Priestess, Lady Nadira, seemed only to strengthen her devotion to Ourselves, and to the castle. When she is not aiding Our people, she lends her grace and charm to Our Royal Court.

"We know also that with the little time that is left to the First Acolyte for personal pursuits, she utilizes by furthering her most honorable character. Not only does she study the art of the sword, keeping well-honed in both mind and body, but she gives distinctly of herself in language lessons to her peers."

Her Majesty finishes, "Because of all of these things, and more, Charmiam has proven, both by her benevolence to the Seekers and other Denizens, and her ceaseless devotion to Ourselves and to Our Court, that she is of Noble spirit. We wish to present to thee now...Lady Charmiam."

As the trumpets played a fanfair, Lady Charmiam murmurs to Her Majesty, "Your Majesty, you do me too much honour."

Her Majesty shook her head as She replied, "Nay, it is honor well deserved, Lady Charmiam."

The First Acolyte accepted her new title, "I am known to all of you, I believe I have been done such an honour this eve and it is with the support of all the Acolytes, the Seekers, that I am able to perform my duties. I live to serve Her Majesty, Natura Balanus, all of the residents of the castle. I am glad all of you are here this eve. I thank you all and swear by the bough, the bud, the bloom and the leaf, that I shall continue to serve." After her that, the denizen in the ballroom applauded Lady Charmiam.

The Lord Treasurer, His Highness Prince Bertram, presented Lady Charmiam with a gift from the Court: an elegant platinum circlet of sublime design inlayed with two thin bands of shimmering skymetal which hold a circular disk of flickering green vesuvianite. Smaller round-cut deep black opals are set on either side of the central stone reflecting the light which seems to eminate from the disk. This circlet bears the professional mark of Grand Master Jeweler Mistress Zia.

Lady Charmiam clutched her circlets saying, "Your Majesty...I thank you ... I have no words."

Her Majesty replied, "Words are not necessary, Lady Charmiam, for the look upon your face speaks clearly enough."

His Highness, Prince Bertram also announced, "As well, some of the older guests will recall an event I have hosted a few times in the past. A haunt hunt. The specific dates of such and details of what this entails will be gone into more detail after the Squire's Challenge is completed. But I would consider it an honor to be able to dedicate this hunt to the newest Lady of the Court. If she would accept." She accepted.

After this, Her Ladyship had the first dance with Master Helve, the Royal Torchurer and Excutioner. The party had begun in earnest with much dancing, eating, and fellowship. Those who wished to personally congratulate Her Ladyship, the First Acolyte did so at the Musician's Gallery, which is above the ballroom. Music for this celebration was performed by Royal Players ser Mayakosky playing the viol and sera Bryony, playing the violin.

As always, this Chronicler humbly thank those in advance who might point out any factual errors that maybe in this post to him. Thank you.

Sincerely Yours,

Assistant Chronicler Arian
