Just wondering?

Hi. I have been away for ages because I have been busy and I have come back and its moved to Skotos.....and you have to pay now. What happend to the people that used to run it for free? and whats changed etc in the game? I am not compaining or anything...I am gonna recindle my lost love for this game and if its worth It I will begin paying....its a bummer though that its not free anymore...suppose you can count on a better Service though?

Well you don't have to worry about ownership, TEC is still the properly of Worlds-Apart...Skotos is just now hosting it. The cost to run the game was apparently just too much for the banners to pay for, this was the alternative, otherwise they'd have had to take the game down after a while. This change also ensures that even when TEC3d is released, TECtext will remain up and running as long as its viable.

As for new, well...speed for one. :) Game wise, so far I believe we just have a new character generator, really cool though, tis info on it in another forum I believe. And now that its got proper hosting, the staff can put more time towards improving upon the game.

You can think it all you'd like, and you'd be wrong. It is up to those who are GM healers to tell you, not me. But there are at least 4 others who are active.

Could it be that you don't know everything?

I know at least one other healer who is above GM basics, above outstanding stitch, and can at least teach every other move. I know another healer who is GM in basics and stitch. You might not know them, or how skilled they are, but that doesn't change the fact they are active, and are GM healing. And I know of at least 2 others.

Oh, I did read your post, and many others you have posted where you've confused hard facts with what you've been exposed to. You can say you've been wrong before, but you rarely act like there is much that exists outside of what you have experienced or know.

the difference of opinion here stems from the fact that, using the wording you just gave, If I say:

"You are the greatest woman ever." I am 'wrong', since there are women who are greater.

A Compliment, given quickly, can be taken as a compliment by most without analyzing how right the compliment is.

"From my experiences, which could very well be wrong, Kelles and Sianna are the two best skilled healers who are currently active in game. Of the two, Kelles is the only one of them with grandmastered basics."

Takes a lot less time than "You are the only grandmaster in game. Well done!"

And who really cares one way or another whether I am right or not? is someone going to become deeply offended by my not knowing them? Is Kelles going to have at least the possibility of feeling that my words were sweet?

I was not belittling Kelles' skills. It's an achievement whether you are the only grandmaster or one of 100. I would be offended if I had a grandmaster healer, but I don't. I just feel kinda bad for those who have achieved it, don't hide it, and are constantly overlooked.

But this isn't the only time you've pulled things out of your butt with such authority. :p
