Ok, Caroman needs to booted from the game!!!!!! He wanted to date Nymbia but I told him that I was a guy in RL. So he asked to spar, impaled me emptied his sack into his quiver and discarded the sack and his sagum. Then he thought on think that I stole his sack. So I freed myself and ran from him and towards the constable HQ for constable cause I was innocent. Then he followed me with a guy named seros. They said we'd go get a connie and we ended up in the alleys. Then all of a sudden they both start attacking me. So I fall unconscious and they drag me to a temple. Drop me off there and leave. So of course I whined and complined to Scott and he revived me, but now I lost what I had of a chance of people not thinking I'm a thief. Neither of them were arrested and I get the short end of the stick all becuse of some silly OOC thing. If it were my choice, Seros would be jailed, Caroman booted, I would have some kind of thing that cleared my name and a little rps compensation. but I'm not the power in this game so I guess I get the public humiliation and bad reputation. Luckily, I am alive though.

Ok.........I only heard your side of the story so I'll just make comments on a couple of things.

As far as your IG reputation, handle it IG. There's nothing the GMs can do to restore your reputation. You can talk to the Captain of the constables or the Legate about bringing fraud charges up on your attackers for smearing your reputation. I'm not saying that it will all turn our in your favor, but that's the way to handle it IG.

Also, why should the GMs give you RPs just because of something another player did to you? That completely baffles me.

Well I wouldn't really say they ruined your reputation, damaged it yes, not ruined it. What did just ruin it was your post in which you included your characters name. Granted I don't usually take these posts into IC consideration, however, I'm not everyone in the game.

Aye, the story is sad, and I do feel for you... but did you have to use their IG names? You have to calm down before you post, Genes... Brassy handled her situation where she was wronged to a much greater extent the way you could have, and should have here... Gossip about their short-comings IG.

Y'see, now I have to RP that I don't know this IG, even though that is an absurd possibility. Just three more people I'll have to avoid...

1) The rp was just an idea because I was really ticked at the time. Gifts always make me happy.
2) Most people know my character from all the stories I tell in the forum's so it doesn't matter.
3) The Legate or Tug probably wouldn't give a rat's arse about the fruad charges.
4) My reputation was already bad, but like Annatar said it's damaged not ruined.
5) This has seriously gotten me to want to stop playing TEC, and I hope who ever play's Caroman is happy about that.
6) I am sorry about the OOC comment but everyone needed to stop talking about it.
7) Scott told me to act like it never happened. So can you guys do that too. I know it's hard to ignore cause you heard it on think but it was some stupid idjits who can't rp. Plus, me being scared. When I'm being framed, I don't type right let alone think right. So I say stupid stuff. This has really ticked me off though. I mean they get off scotch free and I got the public humiliation and damaged reputation. That ain't very fair seeing as how they started it and ended it in a sense.

Sorry for disturbing the game. The idjit who started, I hope, will get his punishment.

If you didn't want to date him, have your character just say "no". If you did want to date him, don't worry about your being a guy, because this game doesn't get into very heavy romance anyways. At least based on what I've seen, what people have said, and what the game is supposed to be about.

If I would have known that it would have got me impaled, accused of theft, and being club to death I would have just told him he was ugly or something. Oh wait, he'd get mad at that too. Darn it!

I don't care who he was or how desperate he was. no should be enough, and if it isn't, take it to a constable for harassment.

And a word fo advice, never give a guy a break becasue he wants to be in a relationship and you don't. They only get wierd and nasty.

So the guy roleplayed a common male ploy. The "I must be really awful for a girl not to like me" line. It's an aspect of roleplaying a girl you should be aware of. Just tell them you aren't interested in dating anyone at all. If they persist, walk away. The message comes out loud and clear at that point.
Never compromise your characters with ooc info like that.
