I remember my favorite character that I had was Grimrist. He was really load and annyong, almost everyone knew who he was and most hated him but he was fun to play. He was definatly one of my most developed characters its too bad he died fighting a spider. I miss playing ol' Grimmy.

Anyway what was your favorite character to ever play?

Macro

I'd have to say it really depends on my mood.
I like to play all of mine. I didn't have much time to develop my first character who died within days of opening the account.
My knivesman I trained with a lot but got bored with him so deleted him.
I don't miss playing him as he knew nobody.
Macro has taken up most of my time, even though lately I have not really been playing him.
I guess I like playing someone who is relatively well known.
Sometimes, however it is nice to play someone who just isn't known, which is why I like to play my third character, who will remain nameless:).
It's also good just to be able to train with a character and take a break from rping.
Mac tends to get into some odd and intense rp situations, as people like Helio can verify;). It's good sometimes to take a break from playing Mac. Each time I rp him I kind of get wrapped up in the situation.

Well, I suppose I'd have to say that Shawntel is my favorite for a couple of reasons.

1. She's the character that I first started the game..btw, she's never died, and she's never been in jail. :D *knocks on wood*

2. She's the only character that I play.. :p

I have another character, Kylie, but I never play her anymore.. Never really played her that much to begin with though :)

Oh well. :D

Nomad

Nomad, hands down. He is what I would be were I in his situation. Except in RL I'd find a way to overcome his inability to reach the potential his skills say he should have. (Someday I'll find a cure IG as well )

As Macro says tho. it is a mood thing. I do have another character who is little known and seldom seen. He is my in game equivalent of going to a strange town where I don't have to say hi to every other person I see.

Kered

having three different charcters myself i mainly use Kered since he is my favorite and the most vocal...i have a healer I use when im tired of doing the same old train fight kill and he's fun to use...i have a third that basically i use to try out new stuff with...like bows which ive grown to love but its hard as hell to learn with...maybe they'll refine this skill..so Kered can pick it up

Despair

I have three characters, two of which I never play because I like playin Despair alot. She's my healer and I wanna make her great so I gotta keep workin on her :)

Have no idea if she's well liked or not, she has a tendency to get really crazy sometimes. But I'm not one to care much about what people think of me  Despair has alot of my personality and interests so she's typically me :p

I think I've said elsewhere that my favorite is definitely Tanwistel. She is a polite, adorable intellectual snob -- and totally incompetent! The unrequited love aspect is also really funny. I'm sure whoever stole her love poems got a kick out of them. :p

Ixter Draconok

Have to say myself, Ixter. He is the only character that I have ever played, from day one that I started this game and I believe I have come a long way with him [Still got a long to go though too, :D ]
He is nice to everyone he meets at first, but when he hates someone, he hates the big time. Plus, don't get on his bad side..

Now, once blacksmithing comes out I will be sure to have another one, or maybe Ixter will take that up..

Hmm, well, besides Retalq being my favorite character hands down. I'd haveta say Oakir is one of the funnest characters I had. It was fun trying to see how the Auxilii could help him since he didn't speak common, only spoke his native tongue, and couldn't understand the common the Auxilii were speaking. So, that was loads of fun :)

It's a mood thing with me. I enjoyed Falinia a great deal, especially when I wasn't in the mood to do anything but have her tell her stories. The event around her death was a satisfying thing for me as a roleplayer. Falinia is what I call a "completed" character. She satisfied the personal desires I had for her as a character, and was sucessfully put to rest. I'll be spending time getting the fiction about her submitted before I go. I forget who all, but I was asked if I could do that. Still trying to get some fuzzy things worked out in my mind. Some details I've forgotten. I finally have Maniceae's name, which I'd forgotten and was driving folks insane about.."remember that guy that wanted to be THE altene fangstave craftsman??"

Currently My favorite is Tovania. I invested the most preparation and time into her creation while I explored the combat side of the house in TEC. I love that she has depths few have ever considered or seen. 8)

My healer is lovely to play and I'm sorry I won't see how TEC will affect her positively or negatively. She was going to be my "thermometer" character by which I could understand a newcomers viewpoint of TEC today, as opposed to what I came to when I was new.

And playing Vladmirs sister has been a challenge (can you imagine? Playing a female variation of Vladmir?)

Holypaladin, that was you being Oakir?!? Thank you!!! That was one of the best times I have EVER had on that bench. End of my shift, nice and quiet (training recruits too, so thanks for making me look completely incompetent ;)).

My favourite character of mine is Calli - well, she has to be or I probably wouldn't have played her for so long. She's the only one I really have time for right now. The most fun character I ever had was my thief Morgiana. She had a weapon skill but spent all the time grabbing from workers and palming with her thiefy friends down at the Golden Anchor. Petty, I know, but she was an early character.

Incompetent Auxilii Calli

Yep, Oakir is one of my characters. I just like making new characters from time to time to give the Auxilii a bit more excitement by having to work harder to try and help someone, especially if the character is hard to communicate with because of how I chose'em to be. You guys can expect some more fun characters from me from time to time to keep you Auxilii on yer toes.

And another character that I enjoyed playing was Soulforge. I played'em for a couple months, but ended up deleting'em. Had some fun with'em tho 8)

My favorite character was my first one and only Kallah.
et oui...:P I go by the 'one at a time' too Shawntel :)
I found it interesting to play a young widow,a cute girl who was as confused as ever and who was going through the hardest, starting with denial, and so on, being private about the whole situation, and trying to get by in that harsh world that Iridine is, even not telling the truth about many things;) Being perturbed by every choices she's made... .
It was very interesting to me, until her taits made things become a tiny bit depressing, so I quit :P she sure knew how to get in the worse troubles :D
And of course who can ever be away from TEC for that long once addicted...? So I put her aside for a while.
I suppose I gave her too many rigid attributres to start with, but that sure was interesting.
:D

Heh, how ironic - I just posted about this experience in another forum :p

Oakir was a blast to interact with, I'm glad you made him :)

It's always the little things like that which make things all that much more enjoyable :)

Helio's player.

I've made other characters, and tried them out for an hour or two (especially since I was trying to get better stats) but I really like playing Thugga and have no interest in any other character.

Most people will probably think I'll say Vino, since I played him long enough for him to to become a well-known character. But he was known as much for the website named for him as anything else, really.
I admit, though, playing a drunk, obnoxious, passively suicidal, outrageously flirtatious ex-organized-crime-enforcer with a mad crush on Locanda was pretty darned fun.
Of all the characters I've played I have to say, in all objectivity, Loketides is probably going to be my favorite of all time. Anyone who's spoken to him for more than two minutes will know exactly what I mean. Sometimes your characters take on a life of their own. Loke' is one of maybe three that have done that for me.

'Well, really? Isn't that wonderful!
blink
:suddenly realizes something.
'You know, I do believe I'm bleeding profusely from my neck. Those damnable rats, you know...
look <character>
'Er...pardon me, but you wouldn't happen to be a healer, perchance, would you?
swoon
'My...I feel rather faint....
faint

See ya'll ingame!

Pharsos is my favorite. Although many hate him, that just makes Pharsos even more crazy.

*cackles insanely*

Your village idiot,
Pharsos

Heh..My list of favorite charecters in Iridine:

Andrew: The quirky idiot who has this absurd idea that he is a sex symbol.

Filimos: Nothing can beat the osecar dance for entertainment.

Bjergar: Best role-played warrior around.

Elenka: Queen of Insanity, need I say more?

Drunser: One of the funniest men in Iridine. Wish he thought out more, though.

Rajean: Vindicitive ...... Always cheers Andrew up to find someone in a worse mood than him.

Tanwistel: She used to be amusing, but she's kinda old now. Still kinda funny to watch her fall in love with Justice.

Shade: When she isn't depressed, she's hilarious. Her defense of animals at the risk of humans always manages to bring a giggle out of me.

Gregorius: Too bad he's not around anymore. "My name is Greogrius" was extremely funny.

Ciciro and Dio-something: Anyone that instantly causes people to hate them when they return deserves an honorable mention on Andrew's lists of favorite players.

Istarn: He manages to get on the list for merely talking funny, and attempting to appear clever.

Defiance: The only lady in Iridine who understands what an idiot Andrew is. Her reminding him of this fact every other second is amusing.

There are plenty of other idiots and geniuses alike that belong on this list, but I'm done. Perhaps there will be a list B in the future for all the people that send pleading emails to me to be on it.

Andrew.
