This topic is for the posting of kudos in Castle Marrach to StoryPlayers, StoryTellers, and Skotos staff.
Did you have or witness a really wonderful scene in Castle Marrach and want to let other player(s) know? Was someone especially helpful to you as you were just starting out? Did your StoryTeller give you a plot that you can't get out of your mind? Or was it someone in the Skotos staff that did something wonderful and made your gaming experience more fun? Post your Castle Marrach kudos here!

I have given some positive feedback elsewhere, but since that could get lost in all the bug and idea sitings, I'll restate the positive here.
Overall, I really think everything is going quite smoothly. I know that the castle is going online in sections, but at this point besides many locked doors in the castle this should challenge the testers to unlock the doors in their minds. I see this as a way to hone (and hook) a core group of players' role playing skills while the activity items like dueling with weapons is being brought online.
More specifically, the documentation is very good.
The response from the forum facilitators has been timely and positive.
In the game a number of characters whom I suspect are Skotos employees have been extremely helpful: Arrion, Leto, Brahm, Malachi, and my personal favorite - Joern.
Having once been a programmer creating bugs, I have spent the last six years as a bug hunter and solver (including technical documentation and web site administration.) So, I can appreciate the monumental effort putting something like this together takes.
Smiling, I curtsy gracefully to the entire Skotos staff for a job well done!

I'd like to thank the Rememberence Guild for sending a lot of us off on a scavenger hunt. It lead at least me to meet a number of other interesting people.
Dame Oriana - For handling a huge bunch of us with inquisitive minds.
Lord Chamberlain - For giving out tidbits to some. And for helping with my duel.
And Davidon - For being a secondary in a rightous duel.

Oh how my mind does spin.
I want to thank everyone, player, and host alike. These passing days of testing have been the best ones in any testing project I've undertaken, and definatly some top quality RP. Kudos!
I must say for last evening, Victor was a needed and welcomed antagonist, twas a pleasure to interact with him.
I have viewed and taken part in a great number of 'dramatic' scenes, I am impressed and very, very addicted.
Well done.. now if you'll excuse me, I am dying to get back into the castle..

Castle Denizens,
BIG, HUGE, MASSIVE KUDOS and THANK YOU to all of you so much for making this weekend such a grand success and joy for us! We (staff) can't tell you how exciting it was to see Castle Marrach come alive after working so hard on it. It was so cool to meet you, your characters - to begin to see alliances, intrigues and dramas unfold. All of the staff has talked about how many wonderful, passionate role-players seem to be attracted to Castle Marrach, and how much fun it is for us to role-play with or watch you all in action.
Equally, those of you who faithfully continue to log bugs and fixes so that we can make the castle even better are greatly appreciated. Keep those emails and in-game bug logs coming!
Frankly, we can hardly wait for you to see how Castle Marrach evolves in the weeks ahead, nor can we wait to see your characters evolving with it.
Thank you all again for your enthusiasm and energy.
Kudos!
Sariel (On behalf of the entire Skotos Staff)

I know maybe this might seem insubstantial in some eyes, but I have to give a technical kudos to whoever came up with the idea of the map. Part of the reason I have never been able to truly get involved in MUD's and MUSH's is because of a lack of visual point of surroundings. Somehow or another, I always seem to get my self backwards and turned around in the wrong direction completely. I love to interact with games like this, but I have always needed a visual to 'see' where I am at, for orientation purposes.
So I give the staff at Skoto's a big applaude for whoever came up with the idea of a map. Thanks a bunch. Believe it or not, the map has already made a difference on being able to interact properly in the game. http://www.skotos.net/ubb/smile.gif

Kudos,
To the man behind the cats... Thanks. You know who you are. You made my char. Without those cats, I'd be a plain character.
