I loved Mr. Bartle's column. And I'm greatly impressed that Skotos has him as a contributor; Skotos is, to paraphrase a student essay on Chaucer, standing with one foot firmly planted in the history of the online text-game genre, while with the other saluting the coming renaissance.

At any rate, I do agree on the worth of having him do some Articles. And it will be nice to see some articles concentrating on the technology behind the system(s) for a while.

I must say that the direction of this article and whats to come is something that I have longed for.

I spent many years mushing and we all know where MUSH came from. PennMUSH, TinyMUSH, TinyMUX and TinyMUSH 3.0. And well, some of the other hacks thats I've seen.

Dont hold back in anything, just say it. I believe most of us who read these articles and respond have a maturity level above the average player nowdays.

Anyways, I'm tired and I'm sure what I wrote here makes little sense.

I wish you luck and I look forward to the next article.
