Faith

I thought I should start another "Character" topic here also...since the one in the StoryPlayers section is more than 4 pages long...geez. Well, if you didn't see the one in the StoryPlayers section, this is where you give "shoutouts" to your Castle Marrach IC friends...here I go.

Faith was always the spunky, active type. When she entered, she was lost and naked and stuff...typical Newly Awakened...since then, she made friends who were there for her so much!

Rand::Faith cannot stop thinking about you! Ever since she met you, she fell in love and whenever she is near you, she feels like a different person. She thanks you so much! You haven't been around lately...she misses you!

Margaret::Thanks to Rand, she met a kind and gentle person like you. You've been a great friend to Faith and she loves you so much!

Ewan::Faith is so glad you're with Margaret...whenever you need a hug, you know where to go...<Margaret's DEFINITELY 1st! I'm second...=)>

Delacroix::Thank you for being such a friendly person to Faith. All the warm smiles you give her maked her smile! You've been a great friend!...except in the snow fight. =P

Seraphina::Faith's sister and truly loyal! You've been so kind and Faith loves ya!

Scott::Faith's goofy brother...she wishes you luck on your quest into the Winter Watch...good luck and she loves you too!

Catharsis::Faith's "role model"...she's so glad she met someone with a good humor like you~ Your an excellent leader and she's so glad she joined your guild!

Kiera::Faith hopes to become a closer friend to you...your a great leader for the Awakeneres and Faith is glad to be in your guild also!

Charm::Faith cannot forget the time you have been so kind to her in Faith's hard times...she thanks you and is proud to call you her cousin.

Angron::Although you're a quiet type, Faith saw you as a soft and gentle man deep inside. She enjoyed seeing you around and hopes she can become a closer friend to you!

If I forgot any of you, I deeply apologize!! So...what do you people think of Faith? *nervous grin* Cheers~

Caroline *Faith*

I like Faith. She's still new, so you have a lot of time to define her. She's spunky, but not annoying, she seems to take things in stride pretty quickly and has made a number of friends already. I've enjoyed welcoming her in the Battle Guild and look forward to having her around and listening to her views on things.

As for Catharsis ... she's going through some changes right now, so I'll be asking you guys about this in a few weeks. http://www.skotos.net/ubb/wink.gif

Myrth

Like Faith, I'm looking for some feed back on my character, Myrth... now I know that surely not all of you know her very well, but methinks the majority of people have met her.. someone called her "Bubbly" who was that anyhow?

And Myrrh, It's just too much fun hanging out with you! Specialy when people confuse us! http://www.skotos.net/ubb/biggrin.gif (Couldn't have worked better is we'd planned it!)

Myrth - I guess it's obvious that Myrrh likes you a lot. :P Have had so much fun hanging out with you - working on my history and have a few really good ideas so will post here when I have it all together.
I really like the enthusiasm Myrth brings to the game - she lives with her heart on her sleeve. She's easily influenced by the moods of those around her and wants everyone to be happy - I know she hates it when anyone is upset (try not to take it so personally dear)

Faith - Myrrh hasn't had much interaction with you but she likes what she has seen - you seem patient and kind. She's still trying to figure out how to get to know you.

Faith ~ Margaret loves you like her spunky little sister. She knows in her heart that you are the one for Rand, especially as the day you awoken, Marg told him to have *Faith* that he would find love. Margaret connects with you from her playful side and knows that you will join into any fun that arises. Her favorite memory is the snowball fight and hug fest!

Myrth ~ Margaret felt a connection to you the day they met on the stairs in the Inner Bailey. She considers you a dear friend and finds your excitement for her wedding most touching. She cannot wait to get to know you better.

Myrrh ~ Margaret has just met you but finds you warm and friendly. (Something she is drawn to in the castle for her counsel/seeker duties take her to people who are less so at times. You and Myrth should have a lot of fun confusing people *wink*

Catharsis ~ Marg already notices the changes in you and they distress her greatly, she is quite worried about your balance and will be watching over you protectively as much as you will allow. http://www.skotos.net/ubb/smile.gif ooc - your RP yesterday was fab - quite alarming and yet marg couldnt help feeling compassion

Will definitely take you up on those hugs Faith; Margaret keeps me well supplied, but there is no such thing as too many hugs. You are a welcome bright new star in the Castle Marrach sky -- Ser Ewan

Right. So alot of things have happened with Duraze, and I never really got any replies to the last time I asked people their opinions of him, so I'm going to try again.

Tonight I'll write up updated opinions for Duraze on others, but I'm in the castle right now.

OOC, I love Duraze. Cath and him have their own issues, but I enjoy that you play to them faithfully. While some of the reactions to recent events in the general populace aren't what I expected, I look foward to seeing how Duraze handles things. Other than that ... Cath hasn't really had the chance to get to know him. Too busy fighting, you know.

Myrth really likes Duraze.. he's diferent! If a bit serious sometimes. Reflecting on that she's decided to pretty much stay out of the way.. she agrees with him a lot of times, but just doesn't know quite what he thinks of her so she tries to stayout of conversation.

And so, understandably, Myrth was thoroughly confused when he said he was looking forard to getting a chance to talk with her again the other night when Karissa needed some help... 'He even remember's me?' 'What was I was talking to him about before...' 'Who is he talking to?' Was few of many puzzled thoughts this brought up.

So cheers Duraze, he's an awesome character, but you're going to have to help poor Myrth

Well Duraze, if it makes you feel any better nobody much said anything the first time I posted way back when either. So, I suppose I'll toss Lucas to the wolves again, see what happens. He's become better defined since then anyway, with any luck he's improved some. http://www.skotos.net/ubb/smile.gif

Eventually, I might even get brave enough to tell people my own opinions...

I guess I should jump in too, since Rand has changed a little and I'm curious about what people think...

Faith -
She's been probably the single biggest turning point for Rand. He absolutely adores
her, and would do anything to protect her.

Margaret & Ewan -
Its been great having Margaret as a sister, and having her with Ewan is just perfect as far as Rand is concerned.

Punzel -
Rand really admires Punzel for giving him another chance after he, well, anyway... He thinks of Punzel as one of his best friends here, and loves trading advice with her.

Avaria -
Rand really likes Avaria, and he's impressed with both her tact and her wit. He definitely enjoys their conversations!

*Wince expectantly* So let me know what you all think of Rand,

Justin (aka Rand)

Okay, I'm a stickler for punishment ^_~. In keeping with the tradition, I'll tell you guys what I think of your characters, if you'll tell me what you think of Bard, allright? =)

I think I may have written before on how I designed Bard off of the old Celtic bards of yore. These talemasters/songspinners were an integral part of the oral tradition and wandered about trying to expand their collection of semi-historical entertainment. Hence, I've tried to play Bard as a friendly man getting on into middle age. He has a sanguine humour, and a little bit of a fatherly approach to most of the other members of the castle who are younger than him. I'd say Bard is still a very evolving character, but I want to know how people think I'm doing.

Oh, yeah, and I don't have the accent just to confuse you poor people. I'm really trying to make him sound celtic. ^_~

OK, for now I have:

Faith: I haven't seen much of Faith, but going by the description I'd say you're right on the money! I don't think I've ever been in her presence where she didn't fit the description "spunky" =). If you want a suggestion, I'd say the only think I could think of to improve on is to perahaps go even FURTHER with the excitable attitude that's already there.

Rand:: I regret that I don't think Rand and Bard have met often enough that I can comment. However, I think I can say that I hear about him all the time from everyone, so You must be doing something right!

Margaret:: Definately on my top ten list of castle personalities. Margaret, is played with wonderful realism and has a great wit. I think the bravery she's shown in the recent vigil really made me (as a player) feel, and I'm happy to say that seeing Margaret grin really makes Bard want to smile.

Ewan:: I do somewhat regret that Bard doesn't KNOW Ewan all that well, but I have had enough online time with him to compliment him on the weight of his romantic attachment to Margaret. You make it wonderfully convincing. Oh yes, and you play a wonderful drunk. ^_~

Delacroix:: Ser Instructor, you're one of the best conversation partners that Bard has. Ironically, Bard and Delacroix have seen more of each other recently because of that bad leg, which, I must say you play up with a wonderful flair. My only advice is to get an assistant, or several, to help him with those practice sessions. The rest of the castle misses his company ^_~

Catharsis:: Yo go girl! ^_^ Seriously though, I think Bard sees something in Catharsis when he first met her on his first night in the castle. I'm pretty sure after the confirmation of his assumptions in the test of stregnth, that Catharsis is destined for great things. Don't ask me WHAT it is that is making Bard think of her that way, because I don't think I should say ^_~

Kiera:: One of the personalities of the Castle I'm sure Bard regrets not knowing better. Though in the short time I think they've talked she made a very strong impression on him. Just aloof enough to make her mysterious but just warm enough to make her very enjoyable company. I'm certain if given the chance Bard will try and become her friend, if to only know her better.

Charmiam:: Ah, Sera Charmiam, one of Bard's favorite people. Ever since the night Bard sung his Ode to Honor, I think they've become quite close friends. Honestly, I think I've had more fun playing Bard off of her than just about any other time (maybe outside a few with his love Evana). Certainly he finds her requests for songs delightful, and with her new hairdo he's definately looking for an oportunity to sing about it.

Angron:: Ah, the Junior Chronicler. I think you play your role a lot better than your superior (no offense Andrew! You're a great character for other reasons!), and certainly Bard has a lot of curiosity about how you do what he does, but in written word and without verse. Over all, I'm impressed personally by how well you play the scholar, and how much patience it must take to keep it up.

Punzel:: I swear, Bard STILL thinks Punzel is one of the best poets in the castle. The closest that Bard ever came to being truely angry was when Punzel was injured in her duel with Starke. I'm also pretty sure that Bard thinks very similarly of Punzel that he does of Catharsis, that she's destined for great things, though perhaps not in the same way. I may be biased on this, but I really do think Punzel should emphasize her poetry a lot more than she does even now. It's just so good!

Avaria:: Its definately been a while, but I think it says a lot about how well you're role playing that Bard remembers you quite warmly. I'm all for agreeing that you're both IC and OOC one of the best wits in the castle. Some of us really appreciate that!

Myrrh & Myrth:: Damn, I don't know HOW you do it. You two play of each other so well it's no WONDER people get your names mixed up. You're like a pair of twins, delightfully confusing. Bard really enjoys your company a lot, particularly together. I can only say keep it up, and keep us all guessing!

phew! I think that's all I should say now, lest I start to wander! I'd enjoy the input for Bard, thanks a million in forethought.

From Bard about Ewan:

Oh yes, and you play a wonderful drunk. ^_~

You should have seen the Giving Day Dance. That was great! It was a long time ago, but I'll never forget Zero and Ewan hanging out in the seamtress's room, with everyone else already gone, and Ewan slurring about how much he "loves you guys". THAT was funny. http://www.skotos.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Shake Ewan's head ... Gaze foggily at Zero 'We drank together ... you and I ... at the giving day celebration?' Sigh deeply 'Ahhh, such fond memories ... if I could but recall them.' Grin wryly. Ser Ewan. (ooc -- twas a most fun night!)
