All I can say is Amen, Shannon, Amen. Nothing that I've heard or read about this horrible event has brought tears to my eyes until your article. 100% agreement.. we must realize that it's one earth and everyone is our neighbor and to break down the barriers instead of building them higher is the only way out of this predicament. Thank you for this community, thank you for voicing what so few have dared to say yet.

Mr. Mandrake must echo the sentiments of KathyN, including the fact that Shannon's words were the first thing in all this to bring a tear to his eye.

When I saw the black background load, I thought, "Oh, Christ, here comes the sonorous 'Day that will live in infamy' speech..." I'm glad I read on, for what I read surprised me, gave me joy and sadness, and resonated within me.

I have considered the making of games a spiritual enterprise as much as a creative or economic one. I have had doubts about how to bring my vision to fruition. Those doubts are gone, and it would be with honor and humility that Mandragoria would seek to align itself with Skotos.

I wrote up a lengthy commentary to your article dated 9/11/1
As usual, I re-read it, once complete and I'm glad..

Instead of my commentary, I'll settle for yanking one thought from it, if I may:

My advice for StoryBuilders is quite simple: Build games that encourage community. Think about how the systems in your games will either encourage or discourage people from coming together, and do the former whenever you can.

I hope the staff of Castle Marrach caught that line, down near the end of your article. Whether I agree with the rest of your article or not, to me, is insubstantial; that one paragraph speaks volumes of wisdom.
