Friends,
For some time now, we have internally been preparing ourselves for alpha, setting a date and similar. Here is some information on what and when, but do take note that the alpha game is an "invite only" game, not open to the public.
The alpha game is going to take place January 20th, 2005. The reason it doesn't happen earlier is, to be honest, that we don't want to intrude on christmas, new year and school starts, which tend to be hectic for a lot of us.
It will take place over a course of 2-4 weeks, depending on how well the players progress and how much fun they have. It is not a finished game, in the sense that the features we have advertised on this forum are not all in place.
When alpha is over, we will oversee what needs overseeing, and shortly after, we will announce the beta date. The beta game will be semi-public. In order to join, you will need to sign up on the beta list. (More about that later.)
This development has been unbelievably enjoyable, and I can't thank those on the team enough for their efforts in getting us this far.
