A lot of you mentioned that searching for the correct verb gets a bit old a bit fast, so to make the things less of a hasslem how's about you folks share what you've learned in regards to commands thus far.
Please keep any secrets you have discovered IGly to yourself, but definitely share what you can regarding commands for crafting, harvesting, fighting, etc.

Basic verbs:

Harvesting:
pick works for plants. The one I had difficulty with is the bamboo in figuring out to target 'cane'

You'll want to 'mine' the salt.

Hunting:
unarmed, you can use punch and kick
armed properly you can use stab
armed propery you can use throw

also properly equipped you can 'gut with my <tool>'

Crafting:
for furs and some plants:turn blah into blah. The guessing work here is figuring out what you're allowed to turn things into
smash berries
mold clay into blah
You can also mix certain things with clay. mix blah with clay

Cooking:
drop the meat
if equipped, slice meat with <tool> (not necessary to cook)
step away from the meat (type leave)
pick your meat up
prepare my <food> over fire

Healing:
Is a member of your tribe unconcious and near death? Get them to your faction and revive <character>. Note your faction must have production points to revive chars.

A good list, ocannie. The main one I think you missed was 'gather clay'.

Working on sites seems pretty self evident within the system. i.e. you guys have good enough documentation once the site is started that we can figure out what to do.

Oh yeah, have you been mud-caked for three days now? Just 'dive into well' to clean yourself off. Though it does wash off all the tribal paints you might have on you.

And, you can 'drag' bodies of your unconcious clan members who decided that serious wound wasn't enough to stop them trying to kill that tasty looking deer.

Anyone found out the fill command yet?

BTW, thanks to both the person who pointed this out to me and the staff for doing this: examine a bamboo cane a few times. Eventually an idea of what to do with it occurs to you. Kudos.
