Rugby rules
These are based on Aussie touch football rules
1, There is a referee. All decisions are made from the perspective of the ref. No complaints about lag will be heard – The ref will rule upon the sequence shown on his screen
2. A try is scored if a team successful pass the ball 10 times. They can be tackled and play the ball, but only to the tackle limit. This represents the team running forward. A try scores 2 points. The command is ‘give ball to Noddi’
3. a player is tackled if a member of the opposing team ‘tackles’ him after receiving the ball and before passing it. Blocking tackles are not allowed. You can only tackle the player with the ball. The command is ‘tackle Noddi’
4. A game is restarted by a ‘play the ball’ this occurs when the game is started, after each try, and after each tackle. The command is ‘say “play”. The player holding the ball when tackled must play it, then must pass the ball. He/she cannot be tackled.
5. A attacking team that has 6 tackles without scoring (ie, they did not pass 10 times) must hand over the ball to a member of the other team
6. teams should be at least three people, though if numbers allow, 4 is better.
7. To allow the tackles the players on each team the team members must modify their consent list to allow each member of the opposing team. No other actions besides tackles are allowed on the other players.
8. Any infringement of the rules results in a penalty. If the attacking team infringes, they hand the ball over. If the defending team infringes, they concede a penalty try worth 1 point.
9. the ref’s word is final. The ref will call play back to a certain spot if a player is deemed tackled but already passed the ball.
10. have fun.
If anyway has comments or suggestions, please post them
