Perhaps we should have an OOC courtesy circle here.
Courtesy is not about being nice or friendly. It is just the basic tools of how we prickly people can interact successfully in a society.
In real life, if someone tries to help you, and isn't doing something quite right, do you?
1. Say thank you and ignore their gaffe
2. Stay thank you and politely correct their gaffe
3. Politely correct them
4. Rudely correct them
Now generally, you do one of the first two if you think they are trying to help. Its a bit of social grease to keep us from hitting each other with clubs.
These games are all done by volunteers. The players whether S* or not often give a lot of time with their money.
Be nice. There are people behind the posts. Encourage each other to contribute more. If you do the last couple options too often, you'll just make people feel unappreciated and contribute less. That makes the social commons a poorer place.
