I'm not sure I like this. The search was one of those things that could pass the time and didn't force a person to interact with others if they didn't want to or there was no one around.

I also wonder about the tulips, beads, strings, and other 'good' things found while searching.

sure, the 40 million rocks, rags, pamphlets, combs and booklets got annoying. And I wouldn't miss. But they were additions to the game that I liked, even if they did lag things a bit.

Mixed feelings, I like the hide/find idea, I just don't like relying on that completely.

The new system is a step in the right direction for what we plan to incorporate.

Other "time-passing" skills will become available.

The previous items will find their way back into IronClaw Online pending future system changes.

In the meantime, there are some people who still have PLENTY of beads and strings...unless they plan to hoard ;)

Who says random items will be completely gone?
The hide/find system isn't completely finished yet.

Random items will be making a comeback, you may just find that you need to search in the right places (hint: try the ground if you want rocks)

Indeed, :) I have at least one of those.
