I, Eshne, will be hosting a hunt starting as soon as the sun rises on this day, Mercredi, the 19th of Yule [OOC: Thursday, January 19, at around 7 am or so].

This hunt is open to all. You will be searching for beads. The person to find the most beads will win a full aureal.

The boundaries of the hunt are that it must be within the area available to commoners [OOC: read anywhere in the current Ironclaw world, except locked rooms and such].

There are 124 beads deposited throughout the area.

I will be available starting at one hour before midnight[OOC: 9pm EST on the 19th] and will remain available in the courtyard outside the Severed Tail tavern for several hours. All entrants MUST be received by [OOC: insert IC time here, OOC time is 1am EST].

Good luck, and enjoy!

OOC: Oh, take note. Some of the beads are hidden with the HIDE command, and some are hidden by placing them in certain spots. You're more likely to find the ones hidden without the command, but there are not as many of them.

Edit: Oh, and note that this is meant to fully test the hide/search commands, and also to give people some fun and give them a bit of reward for helping out. So, yea...this is what alpha is all about. Testing, testing, testing.

Oh, and the beads in the buckets in the clothiers' shop don't count

OOC: My character has almost half that amount of beads, couldn't I just turn those in ICly? I mean, you can hardly distinguish between the beads. I don't think its a fair competition.

OOC: In reply to that, I'm trusting you as players to not cheat. It certainly wouldn't be fair if everyone just turned in the beads they have. Play fair and don't do that. Thank you.

Seriously...this entire hunt's purpose is to test the coding. You are all here to do just that, test the game. Right? Let's hope so. So, if you want to cheat, go right ahead, but you're not helping the game any by doing so.

OOC: I'm going to be a little late getting on. It's one of those not so good days. But I should be on by 9:30pm EST. Sorry for the inconvenience!
