Hello Gamers,
This is an issue that was brought to my attention by several members of the Staff, and I would like to make a clarification. The Staff of the Lazarus Project, like the Staff of most Skotos games, are volunteers. This means we are not paid to do this, but rather, we lend our time and energy towards needs of the game. One of the tools granted to Staff members is the ability to disappear from the wholist. This is normally done when the Staff member is short on time, or focusing on their current task and does no wish to be bothered. While I understand the need to contact the members of the Staff, I feel that I must remind you that we are people too. Please, your first form of contact with Staff members should always be an @assist, or @bug. Perhaps your comment is neither? Perhaps you have a suggestion for a new location, or a new group IG? Then I direct you to the @idea command. Now, this does not mean you cannot ever page the Staff. It just means try the other methods if you do not see any Staff members on the wholist. If you know a Staff member is online, but they have no paged you, please, realise that they may be working on something, or even away from their computer. I am almost always visible on the wholist, and I invite you all to page me with your questions, comments, suggestions, or requests. I might be able to get to them immediately, but I will try my best to respond to you.
