Beauty or the Beast?

Hey everyone.

Just thought I'd post this thread to ask a few people's opinions. As most of you know, my plot has been going for some time now and at the moment, I'm a bit confused as to how to go on.

The simple thing is, people have shown different reactions to Beast. Some have feared him and either attacked or run away, some have tolerated him, so long as he behaves and the remainder of people treat him as some kind of bizarre pet. :P

Now... the thing I would like to ask is, would people like Beast to be around still? The plot has reached a point where Beast can be held back and so he's not around much. Would people want him to come back? If so, what would they rather he act like? Raving, bloodlusting creature or a pet?

I'm not saying what people suggest is going to be what he's like, I just like to know people's opinions. I know some of you will say it's my choice but thats missing the point. I created this plot not for me, but for everyone else to take part and enjoy. So if you have an opinion, don't hold back. Anything goes but don't expect me to take your opinion as how things should progress. I just need a better idea how to move the plot further.

Hi Ri! *waves* I haven't been around much lately to see Beast at all. Personal opinion of player at this point in general... we have had a rash of alternate personalities/body take over by evil parasites/whatnot ... Unless you can put a real unique spin on it.

**personal opinion statement** I'm personally (speaking as a player) getting a bit board with it at this point, of the theme, not the character or player. Your choice to continue it, just don't expect me to be as enthusiastic about helping play the plot out.

For the record, I *love* Ri's playing with his gun fetish! *smirk*

*offer of an alternate idea* Maybe Beast isn't really a separate persona, but merely Ri's little obsession getting the better of him?

You have good points... you've also highlighted that not much people know exactly -what- Beast is.

For those who've known Ri for a long time, many will be aware of him talking about the beast inside of him. What Beast basically is, is a manifestation of that side. So, yes, in a way, Riva's obsession has got the better of him. Beast is not just a wild, wicked personality that allows Riva to get away with all kinds of things he'd normally be shot for. Beast is in all respects, the personality Ri was forced to take on during his time living in the Green. Beast is simply an animal, concerned with animal things. There is the unique spin in my opinion.

To help people, I've found an image which represents my view of Beast. The picture is that of Timber Wolf, a cartoon character who was known for his ability to transform into a raging beast. Hence the similarity to Riva and the transformation in his mind. Enjoy!

Erm... not exactly a super hero, the closest I could find to match it.
