Spring Break isn't an official time in Arkham at this point. Depending on what classes you have your character enrolled in, what their religion is, etc, we leave it up to each individual's personal preferences on whether or not the character has a break or not and what they are doing.
Some examples:
Ruth Whitby, University Registrar, might take an annual week off during March 193x every year. Where does she go? What does she do? Students often speculate wildly on this.
A medical student may, if you are physically going to be gone on vacation at some point and unable to play, be RP'd as taking that time to go intern at a hospital in Boston. Perhaps they are assisting in body prep in the morgue or something.
An art student may be RP'd as they have a week without classes, but are taking the time off to paint around town, or sketch views of Arkham.
Someone else may be working on a semester paper or gone home to visit their family, or off on a short trip somewhere.
All this can be bluebooked (you don't log that character on while away, and before and after you just say x happened) or RP'd depending on if the character is in town or not. Of course, no actual paper needs to be written unless you want to contribute something to the Orne Library as published under your character's name. Storypoints will be given for such submissions.
