View Full Version : What happened to the "who" list?

It's all .. random now.
I really liked it before, Alphabetical and all, because it was easier to look for a certain player and find them that way.

So ... why the change? Was it intentional? And what are the chances of it changing back to the way it was?

Thanks!

At least it's working now. All evening, a who only listed Watchman Zero and Sinistrelle. And I KNOW there were more people online than that. I ran into 10 of them.

I don't know if it could have been something with the duel or not....

Ah, and this might explain why so many are listed as logged in while we can't find nearly half of them.

I thought that was a lot of people for 11pm!

I am making an assumption here, but I think the "new" who list is naming players in order of their 'Age' in the castle. I first found it confusing searching for people's names, but as an Awakener, I found it helpful. Seeing new unrecgonized names at the end prompted me to run up and check to see who just came out of their room. I think it may also be helpful for those newer players to get an idea of who has been here longer when looking for help. Either way, I'm just grateful the who list is back! http://www.skotos.net/ubb/smile.gif

Yeah, I thought that might be the case, but then I saw some pretty striking irregularities (eg. alt older than main char, etcetra), so that doesn't seem to hold entirely true.

Dunno, I'm guessing at someone, someone at Skotos will post about this http://www.skotos.net/ubb/smile.gif

Greetings. We made some changes to the code underneath the who list. The who list should be back to normal by the end of the day.

Indeed, the alphabetical sorting was briefly (accidentally) replaced with a fairly random one which may have followed age roughly and without consistency. :-)

Watchman Lucas says, "Well, I should head back to my room for a bit. I have a

report to update, that I should have done last night."

*I also have noticed a bug when i say "him" or "her"
i found i do not have to use quotes, just the (') and i do not ever end with the (")'s..it just assumes they are there
