Many of you have been very paticent with me on this matter, but like Algebra (which I'm well on my way to flunking for the third semester in a row)I still can't get the hang of using scrolls--either writing or addressing them.
Is there another way of getting a message out, outside of writing on the walls (which will definatley encure the wrath of the Watchmen)? I don't mean to be a drag, but inspite the help of many I still can't do it.
Help Please...
Thank you,
Darren Brimhall

A lot of people have posted help with this and it hasn't worked for you, so let's try it from a different direction. Darren Brimhall, you tell us what you think the process for addressing and writing on scrolls is, and someone will point out what it is you are doing wrong.

Using scrolls is very crucial. Let me give you an example. You want to send a scroll to Philo, telling you that you think he needs a decent haircut. And lets say you want to tell him you're just kidding when you sign it. (Before you do this, make sure you have no scrolls in your inventory, it's easier that way.)
First thing you do, is find a courier.
>ask courier for scroll
A courier gives you a scroll.
>address scroll to "philo"
You adress the scroll.
>write on scroll "Watchman, get a decent haircut for once!"
You write on a scroll "Watchman, get a decent Haircut for once!"
>address scroll "Just kidding"
You address a scroll.
Now, read the scroll, and it should say something like this:
The scroll is adressed to Philo.
Watchman, get a decent haircut for once!
Signed, "Just kidding", by Jayland.
Then, give the scroll to a courier, and Watchman Philo gets a happy surprise. (By the way, I dare you to actually do this. http://www.skotos.net/ubb/tongue.gif )

Ok, Monkey, here's what I do..
Get Scroll (there's at least six of them in Jayland's room)
Write on Scroll
Address Scroll "Blah,Blah,blah....."
And then the trouble's start.
