Attention Seras and Sers of the Poets' Brotherhood and all poetry lovers in general!

I have the pleasure of announcing that the Poets' Brotherhood will be holding meetings on a regular basis. We will meet every other Sunday by the fireplace in the Dining Hall at seven bells of the Castle clock.

Our next meeting will be Sunday on the 29th of this month of October.

I look forward to hearing your poetry!

Sera Katherine

A Giving Day Dance, you say?
At seven bells this coming Sunday?

Well, then, instead of holding the regularly planned meeting of the Brotherhood, which was scheduled to be at the same time, I most humbly offer the poetry of the talented members of the Brotherhood as another form of entertainment for all to enjoy at the Dance.

Call it a Giving Day gift from the Poets' Brotherhood to the residents of Castle Marrach.

Most Happily,
Katherine

Attention Seras and Sers of the Poets' Brotherhood, and poetry lovers in general!

I would like to remind everyone that the next general meeting of the Brotherhood will be this coming Sunday, November 12, at 7 bells. The meeting will be in the Refectory by the fireplace.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will most likely not be able to attend.

Enjoy the evening!

Humbly,
Katherine

Most respected members of the Poets' Brotherhood, and my friend Sera Katherine,

I find that Sunday evenings are particularly difficult for me in my scheduling, and was unable to attend this most recent meeting as a result. I would ask if any other members would appreciate a move to another day ... mayhap Monday or Tuesday evenings?

I do not expect that the Brotherhood should change its meeting time to accommodate my schedule ... I do but enquire if other members have similar difficulties, and express my regret at missing meetings which I did anticipate with such pleasure.

Most humbly,
Punzel

I arrived a bit late to the meeting, for I thought that it was to start at seven and a half bells. When I arrived, I was the only one there. I know not if it was cancelled, or just very short.

I would be quite amenable to a move to any weeknight other than Tuesday eve. Of course, I am not even a member yet, so I certainly don't expect that the Brotherhood's schedule will revolve around my own, but I thought I should make my availability known.

Humbly,
Cedric

Most respected members of the Poets' Brotherhood. I have received Punzel's request and Cedric's feedback, and I am open to moving the evening. I would appreciate more of the member's feedback - of which, Cedric, please consider yourself one although I have yet to give you the rosette.

I am considering moving our meetings to Friday evenings at seven bells sharp, with the next meeting being the first of December.

Please post your thoughts on this here.

Humbly,
Katherine

PS. I am working to arrange the first of our recipe poems praising one of the delicacies the Castle cook creates, so please plan on attending to partake in both the poetry and the food treat.

I must admit that I do find myself confused as to the date of our next meeting. As I have discussed with Sera Katherine in person, Fridays are no better for my schedule than Sunday eves, and so I would not have the Brotherhood change their schedule on my account.

Lacking a definite announcement of a change of schedule, I have continued to assume that we will meet this coming Sunday, at 7 bells, near the Refectory fireplace. I will plan to be there that eve, if I can, so that I may recite poetry if any are interested, and I would urge any other poets to join me there, whether it is an official meeting or no.

We need not, after all, recite our verse at official meetings only.

Humbly,
Punzel

Sers and Seras of the Poets' Brotherhood:

I had considered moving our regular meetings to a night other than alternating Sunday evenings. I had even posted that I was considering Friday evenings beginning the first of December. It was my hope that more members would respond to my request for thoughts on this.

Due to the lack of response from the rest of the members, and due to Punzel's response that she can hopefully attend this Sunday eve, I have decided to keep the meeting to this coming Sunday, November 26th at seven bells by the Refectory fireplace.

Again, the next regular meeting of the Poets' Brotherhood will be:

this coming Sunday, by the Refectory fireplace, at seven bells.

At that time, I hope to discuss a more convenient meeting time. I also have an exciting prospect to communicate to the group regarding something we have been commissioned to produce. If you cannot attend, but still wish to vote for a time and/or eve, then please send me a scroll or cast your vote here.

I look forward to hearing your pieces be they new or old, and to sharing my new pieces with you all.

Humbly,
Katherine

PS. As always all Castle residents are welcome to attend our meetings as our poetry is created for the enjoyment of all.

Dear Sers and Seras of the Poets' Brotherhood,

It is likely that I will not be able to attend this evening's regular meeting due to unforseen circumstances. Please still gather by the fireplace in the Dining Hall at 7 bells to share your poetry even if I am not there.

Humbly,
Sera Katherine

OOC: ISP decided they'd pull their service today without notifying their customers. I won't have new service till at least Wednesday. Now if I could only break through the firewall at work....

Attention Seras and Sers of the Poets' Brotherhood, and poetry lovers in general!

The next regular meeting of the Poets' Brotherhood would have been on Sunday, the 24th of December. THAT MEETING WILL BE CANCELED.

INSTEAD, I would like to invite all of you to attend a special meeting of the Poets' Brotherhood dedicated to sharing traditional poetry and songs that you may remember.

This special gathering will be held Wednesday, the 27th of December, at half past six bells. The gathering will be by the fireplace in the Dining Hall.

I look forward to seeing you there, and sharing with you all!

Humbly,
Sera Katherine

My fellow members of the Poets' Brotherhood!

I require your input on a time for the next regular meeting.

I should like to hold our next regular meeting of the Poets' Brotherhood on Sunday, January 7. There were several poems we did not have time to hear last eve, and I do not want to wait too long to hear them next.

Please post here what time is convenient for you.

Humbly,
Sera Katherine

Sera Katherine,

I was hoping to leave my room for a short time to attend the Poet's meeting, but find this is scheduled for the same time as the Counsel Induction. I am now in a dilemma as to which to attend, so I will take the path of offending all if I must offend any, and I will not attend either function.

Please accept my regrets,
Charmiam

Dear Sera Charmiam,

Please attend one of the functions this eve, for I assure you that you would not offend by missing the Poets' Brotherhood meeting. Of course, we shall miss your poetry, and even moreso your presence should you choose to attend the induction ceremony, but we all understand that other duties often call a poet away.

That is not to say that I deem your interest, or anyone's for that matter, in poetry or the Brotherhood as second to other interests, but an induction sounds to me to be a rather special case. There will be other Poets' gatherings, and there are always opportunities to recite poetry, but there will only be one ceremony for those being inducted tonight. Besides, it may be that you will be inspired to write a poem about the ceremony, with the Council's permission, or course.

Please, Sera Charmiam, enjoy your eve, and know that should you choose to attend the induction ceremony that you will be missed by the Poets', but you will never be thought any less of for it.

Humbly,
Sera Katherine
