While this wasn't something that would break the game, it didn't make sense for freshmen to be able to sign up for field studies. Not unless they were a genius in the field.

To explain, if your skill is Average (4) or less, then you can take an undergraduate class and at the end, your skill can advance. Graduate classes can take you even higher. Taking a graduate class when you are average or below does not offer you any real advantage, except potentially unique RP. So now, all graduate level classes should require at least an average skill level. Some require higher.

But if the skill that you wish to improve is at good (5), then you should not gain any benefit from taking an undergraduate course.

Additional tweaks to classes or prerequisites may be coming, but it is a long list and working too long on it makes me ill to my stomach. Is it just randomized, based on there being someone to trigger the patients in the hospice? Or is it a system based on the healer's ranks that happens to be there? I think it'd be great if there was some sort of system that could be put in place to trigger patients based on skill of a healer, rather than having a new healer waiting for patients they can actually tend to, and getting a majority of people needing application of things, stitches or splints.

Got a question for you. This is purely preference, no right or wrong answers.

Would you prefer to have "one object" for your armor, such as "Azrael is wearing a suit of polished steel armor" or would you prefer multiple individual items, such as "Azrael is wearing a pair of polished steel greaves, a pair of polished steel kneeplates, a polished steel breastplate, a polished steel helmet" and so on?

The obvious pros & cons are:
- One item is cleaner and easier to understand when you look at another PC. It's also easier to clearly know what benefits you get for each type of armor (and gives staff options for things like mastercraft armor)

- Multiple items allow you to customize your outfit with more detail, and only wear specific types of armor if you choose. Someone might have some really significant reason why they want to wear greaves but no other armor. (Does that actually happen?) - it also allows you to "collect" more items. It gives staff more opportunity to "trickle feed" special armor into the game (e.g. we can give out some soulsteel bracers, without having to give out an entire set of soulsteel armor)

It is my distinct pleasure to extend, once again, the opportunity to ALL denizens to demonstrate your mastery of design, color, shape, and texture in the areas of clothing or jewelry in the effort to offer our dear Lady Amoret the very best of the best that our Castle has to offer for her wedding ensemble.

This request for design excellence has been extended before, and while the efforts of those who have participated are surely exemplary, it is wished that the many newly awoken denizens of the Castle also have an opportunity to have their artistic concepts reviewed by our dear Lady Amoret.

Please note the following about this opportunity:

Her Ladyship will be accepting entries for designs for the followingdesign categories, to be addressed and sent to Sera Isaria no later than the end of the sixth moon.

1) Her wedding dress. As she is a noble of the Winter Court as well as Her Majesty's Chatelaine, this piece should be refined and elegant and of some of the best fabrics and colors without being gaudy.

2) Her wedding jewelry. As with the dress, the jewelry should be a reflection of the delicate nature of Her Ladyship and not overwhelm her delicate beauty, and yet be resplendent and fitting of Her Majesty's most beloved Lady.

Contestants are encouraged to be creative and unique in their concepts, but to also maintain appropriate modesty and to reflect the conscientious trends of the Winter's Court.

Entries are due the last day of the fifth moon.


Her Ladyship looks forward to all of your designs with great anticipation, and hopes that many of you will take this opportunity to apply your great imaginations and visions. The winner will receive not only the distinction and honor of having created the gown and/or the jewelry for this once in a thousand years event, but will be invited to the wedding as a personal guest of Lady Amoret herself!
