The Office of the Chronicler is seeking new and interested parties to help it record the day-to-day happenings of the Castle Marrach, home to Her Gracious Majesty, the Queen Vivienne.

The Office is tasked with one of the most important duties within the Keep: Our works allow those both new- and long-established within the Keep learn of events to which they have not been witness, and keep Her Majesty's Court and Her Aristocracy appraised of events happening within the Outer and Inner Baileys.

Chroniclers are often invited to be witness to events that are normally outside of the average Guest's purview. We are witnesses to duels, trials, balls and Courts. We strive to be the neutral individual that all know can be trusted to share the events of the world within which we reside, as fairly as is mortally possible.

Many believe the Office of the Chronicler is a path that is easy and is a door to other opportunities. We caution against this belief in part. Writing in itself is not difficult: it is putting pen to parchment. Writing, interviewing, witnessing and recording events requires some skill. Taking the basic chronicle and turning it into a story which is interesting yet factual takes talent and dedication. These are skills that can be taught and learned within the Office by any who show true interest, but it requires a spark of talent.

Do not let this daunt you: The Office is a warm and loud room, full of ideas and potential. Your fellow Chroniclers are a brotherhood that extends beyond the Office, even amongst those who have moved on. Notable alumni include Lady Avaria, who now is Royal Archivist and Dean of the Royal Collegium; Master Arian, chief scribe of Chancery; seras Astana, Brighde, and Jerisa, honoured members of Her Majesty's Court, and myriad others who have achieved the status of Honoured Guests.

Furthermore, the Royal Treasury richly rewards the Chronicler who is a contributing author, generously offering five coins per well-written chronicle. Additional in-office bonuses are available for those who are productive and active members of the Office. Coins quickly acquire for the enthusiastic chronicler, for the active chronicler attends every event they can put their hands on.

To become an Aspirant Chronicler, an interested party should:

• Make the effort to write a sample chronicle of an incidence you have observed and send it to the Office's Senior Chronicler
• Make an effort to attend Open Office bells
• Pass an interview with a Court or Senior Chronicler

Currently, the Office is served by the Chronicler of the Court, Master Emerick. Sera Euphelia, the Office's Senior Chronicler, oversees recruitment and interested parties should write to her.

Those with questions, concerns and comments may speak with sera Euphelia. Anything she cannot resolve shall be passed on to Chronicler of the Court, Master Emerick.

I've gone ahead and re-posted for the meeting... however I live in Oklahoma. If you've been watching the news at all, you've seen what is going on right now. Tornadoes and super high winds. I don't expect any to come near where I live.. expect being they key word there but you never know, so Cordelia should be around tonight. If she is not, my power or net is likely down due to everything going on. So if that's the case, consider it cancelled. It's currently muggy, really windy, overcast.. and gross. Just praying nothing develops from it. I'll try to update closer to when it is, just in case!

Recently, the lag has gotten especially bad. While the game has always been terrible for the first 30 minutes after backup, the lag is reaching past an hour and into the 90 minute range. Twice a day that is close to three hours per day of lag so bad it is almost unplayable.

I, like many other players, try to avoid those times precisely because of this lag. New players to the game would certainly be dissuaded from playing if they encountered this lag. And while I rarely use this argument, we do pay to play this game. I don't expect riches to shower down on us for this statement, but anything to reduce a this crippling lag would be GREATLY appreciated. Is this a TEC or a SKOTOS issue and can someone look into reducing this?

It's a nice place and rent is cheap but you're forced to go to Vet, Monlon or Iridine to sell your goods eventually.

I think stones or bronze would be the best buyer to put there, maybe pelts. I got bitten by a cat at work and things got insane. Within 24 hours i had an infectiom in my blood and had to have surgery on my hand. I cant make this stuff up... That was Friday and i'm still in hospital. Will have therapy for 6-8 months on hand and for now it's useless anf typing with one hand takes too long and looks stupid.
