    Dear Denizens,

    Below you will find a simplified list of what is expected from the following positions of service:

    The Royal Pages
    Householders
    Assistants

    As with most societal rules, they are subject to change with the times, and any changes to protocol will be posted for general education.

    Royal Pages

    Royal Pages
    • You must be well-mannered, well-spoken and well-groomed.
    • You must be well versed in the Courtly tongue.
    • You must only wear your tabard when you intend to be on duty.
    • You must be expedient and efficient in your duties.
    • You should be competent with reading, writing and conversing.
    • You must not include personal queries in missives that you are doing for others.
    • You must never leave the presence of someone who has summoned you without asking.
    • You should answer bells in accordance to rank of the ringer.
    • You must not abruptly depart if you get a bell while you are serving another.
    • You must not move so fast that you disregard the basics of Courtesy, such as bowing.
    • You should always have at least two blank scrolls on your person.
    • You should endeavor to be abreast of the happenings of the Castle.
    • You must not gossip about tasks that have been set before you.
    • You must not gossip about what you hear while serving someone.
    • You must be unobtrusive and subservient.
    • You must not ask everyone if they require your services. If they do, they will ring.
    • You must study and be up-to-date on the Great Chain of Being.
    • You must be up-to-date on the assistants of those of rank.

      Members of Households
      • You must be well-mannered, well-spoken and well-groomed.
      • You must be fluent in the Courtly tongue.
      • You must always remember that you represent your liege and behave accordingly.
      • You must never speak ill of your liege to others.
      • You must not gossip about Household affairs to others.
      • You must remain abreast of current news and points of interest to your liege.
      • You should have some working knowledge of fashion.
      • You must be able to maintain a tidy suite.
      • You should be able to anticipate the needs of you liege and any guests they may have.
      • You should make connections within the crafting groups.
      • You should endeavor to hold small socials in your lieges name. Teas, practices, etc.
      • You must be expedient and efficient in your duties.
      • You should be competent with reading, writing and conversing.
      • You must study and be up-to-date on the Great Chain of Being.
      • You must be up-to-date on the assistants of those of rank.
      • You must be swift to send or reply to invites, inquiries and other correspondence.

        • You must remember that you are associated to a member of Court and act accordingly.
        • You must not gossip about your patrons affairs to others.
        • You must remain abreast of current news and points of interest to your patron.
        • You should have some working knowledge of fashion.
        • You must be expedient and efficient in your duties.
        • You should be competent with reading, writing and conversing.
        • You must study and be up-to-date on the Great Chain of Being.
        • You must be up-to-date on the assistants of those of rank.
        • You must be swift to send or reply to invites, inquiries and other correspondence.
