    Marrach-related dreams

I thought maybe we should have a thread of dreams we've had that involve Marrach - whether you see the client in the dream or you're actually in it.

Last night I remember seeing the client in my dream, and on the who list was 'Princess Viceran'. I wish I could remember the rest of that dream.

Lord Boreas scampers through the courtyard, "Books!"

<.< I would totally do this plot, I just laughed so hard.

Dreamt last night that Adayne had disappeared into the dream realm and the remaining Faith members were plotting to do some kind of seasonal march against the Crown. Josie went to Adeline and Halvard, trusting them as neutral parties, hoping for ideas on how to slow down the uprising until she could find some kind of solution that would work for everyone and not potentially cause a lot of death. She was very hesitant about Halvard, but apparently years had passed and he had proven himself to be Faith loyal moreso than Boreas loyal. It ended up being Adeline, out of fear, who went to Boreas in secret and told him that JOSIE and the Faith were planning to rise against him. Josie was summoned to Chancellor's bells - Petris, Halvard and Boreas were present, along with Adeline, and Boreas confronted her about the plot, much to her surprise. Halvard looked shocked, Adeline looked guilty and Josie's heart sank knowing she had probably just killed off the Faith that were left by exposing their intentions. Anyway, she was encouraged to snuff out any such plot when Boreas lifted this spherical, cage-like necklace and magically sucked the soul of Adeline out of her body. He said he was going to hold it for ransom until the Faith remembered their role in the Castle was one of servitude and balance, not seasonal change, and then declared the Faith would be known as the Faith Militant from then on, beholden to Him and his causes, serving as soldiers of peace and sometimes war (when He felt it was necessary). They were going to function under the oversight of Petris and be trained in the ways of 'placation'. I have zero idea what happened with the Faith afterward, but Adeline's soul somehow gradually seeped into the soul of the Consort and over time she seemed to be more him than he was, spiritually anyway?

I woke up thinking that she had literally killed him with kindness and was impressed with how, even without a body, she had managed to gain the greatest promotion of all time.

    So bizarre.

Two nights ago I had a dream that I was stuffed into someone's van while walking on the street, and held for ransom. Myself and two other people were kept in a house that was pretty comfortable, with nice king-sized beds and a full view of the street, and our captors were very lax about letting us keep our phones and use laptops. That made it more scary, because of the implication that if we escaped or shared our location or asked for help things would be so much worse for us--we were just meant to plead with our families for the money so that we could be freed.

So last night I had my first Castle Marrach dream. I can only remember a snippet; maybe that's all there was. I think I was in the game, as my character, Hildegard. One of my friends; I think it was Tine; was showing me her sword. Yes, Tine had her own sword; a real one. A good omen? Anyways, she pulled it out of its scabbard, which I think was black leather, to show me. The metal was a bluish steel, and the sword was really beautiful; like the cinematic version of Sting. I think it was a shortsword. I admired it and thought longingly of when I might one day have the right to bear my own sword, and such a beautiful one as that.

The Terrible, Horrible, Awful First Day

I had a dream that Marrachians decided, enough is enough, let's become a democracy and vote for our leader. Subsequently, Ed became King.

Well... At the coronation ceremony things just did not go smoothly. Ed decided to end the festivities partway through and gave a speech that, instead of partying, the cost of the party and time spent frolicking could be better spent solving Marrach's problems. People took offense to that, which stressed him out greatly.

Later, in his chambers, Ed was miserable. One of his aides was sitting in a chair nervously bouncing his leg.

    "Stop that, please."

    "I can't."

"Please stop bouncing your leg. It's extremely distracting and terribly rude."

    "I can't stop. It's a nervous tick!"

So Ed screamed for Helve and asked that he take off the poor man's leg at the knee because he was obviously unable to control himself and needed to be relieved of his suffering.

I immediately woke up and said aloud, "Woah, that took a dark turn."

I dreamed I was in a city and needed to go to the bathroom, so I ducked into a restaurant and asked, but because I wasn't a customer they weren't going to let me use the bathroom off to the side; instead they were apparently going to lead me upstairs through some sort of maze? But then I mentioned that I was the Bodyservant to the Lord Chancellor and not only did they let me use the convenient bathroom, they also gave me a free lunch of noodles.

I had a dream about a submarine that was submerged realllly far down in the ocean and something had caused an impact that made it spring a leak. I was (sadly) the computer interface or whatever on board trying to talk Edstave through how to fix the problem and Kristen Bell was on board acting as his love interest. Ed tried to fix the leak from the outside but the water pressure was so intense his lungs were internally damaged, so Kristen Bell MacGyver'ed the problem from the inside somehow while he was resting on a cot. It ended with his head in her lap and them floating up toward the surface.

So I'm at the gym (me me) with my sister waiting for class to start. So this rude guy thought that its ok to rest his feet in my lap, because that's his version of hitting on me. He was cute though, so I got half mad and went into class. For some reason I took my sneakers off and put them on the side, but class was too packed so I left, without my sneakers...

Anyway I get home, and I log onto CM and see a bunch of weird characters on the who list. Like Wizards and Warlords and monsters and I think - that is interesting, but how do I first get passed them to go get my sneakers from the gym? so I check the hotspot and the yard and bridge and everything is full of people. So I end up taking Trist to the yard barefoot, briefly apologizing, running her to the gym and running into rude cute guy again and all I think about is "Trist, what the f**k? Edstave is waiting in the car outside." So she avoided him, took the sneakers and went outside.

    And then I woke.

    That is... what it is.
