Twenty-Third Day of the Second Moon,
    Nineteenth Year of Recent Awakenings

In accordance to the will of Her Majesty, and in upholding the duties charged to me as Senior Chronicler, I hereby submit an account of
    The Attack of the Triangle.

With the holiday and festivities for the new and last year over, the Triangle did not waste any time reminding us that they were not out of the fight just yet.

On the eighteenth day of the second moon, Her Majesty and her castle defended our home against the Triangle and their unusual creatures. It began at the fourth late bell when the shadows were seen moving against the walls. This caused denizens to worry and immediately inform the Royal Army, however, nothing had made an appearance during their rounds. Later, the Army was called to the Inner to assist in escorting Master Orson to Her Majesty so that he might procure an ingredient for the philosophers stone. While the Army took up guard outside Her Majesty's door, Master Orson was invited inside.

However, Her Majesty instantly knew something was off with Master Orson and this visit. She summoned a Fae Knight, Sir Argent, and the Triangle's alchemist known as Renart dropped his act. He had disguised himself as Master Orson in an attempt to steal the ingredient for his own philosophers stone. During this encounter, Renart escaped using alchemy that caused an explosion in the sky and sent shards throughout Her Majesty's Household, which She stopped mid-air. While he escaped, clockwork creatures took his place readily poised to attack Her Majesty. The Commander and Captain of the Royal Army arrived in time with other members and quickly stopped the attack before it had the chance to fully begin.

Not too long after, Lord Boreas arrived to assist in the protection of his beloved wife while Commander Eeva, Captain Galatea, and Yeoman Celaena departed to the Royal Vault. They encountered a single granite golem in their path to the Vault which was taken down with the combined efforts from Commander Eeva'€™s waraxe and Captain Galatea's longsword. There it was observed that Master Orson was indeed not in any harm and the ingredient had been safely transported to him. Both are now securely locked away and hidden. However, the Inner and Outer were also attacked by numerous creatures such as the clockworks with their newest addition, a €˜cat clockwork and stone golems.

The Inner saw creatures in both the basement and stairs in which two victims (Mistresses Isaria and Josie) were surrounded at all sides. The Royal Army first saw to Mistress Isaria who blew her duck call when she exited the clothier's room. Knight-Lieutenant Darvius led Serjeant Marcellius and Yeoman Celaena through a well thought out strategy to quickly make do with the clockwork spiders and soldiers that attempted to harm the Mistress. In the middle of their fighting, Mistress Josie blew her duck call for she was trapped coming from her Household. It was severely unfortunate that they did not reach her in time, but she had bravely held her own for as long as she could. Captain Galatea arrived just as the Mistress fell and took down the rest of the creatures before bringing Mistress Josie's body to be sent to sera Lilth.

Back in the Outer Bailey, who took the brunt of the creatures, ser Santilius, a former Duelist Triad member quickly got the outer fighters into order. Ser Atmos arrived at this time to assist the outer with their attacks on behalf of the Conclave, The battles was long and many were saved, however, a new guest by the name of Fitzgerald perished during the attacks as he too unfortunately found himself surrounded by the clockworks. Dame Hannah and sers Santilius, Meoris, and Atmos courageously rushed to help him but did not make it to him in time despite their best efforts. They did however defeat the clockworks and continued to scour the rest of the outer. Ser Meoris and sera Caillean, two newer denizens did what they could to help fight but were each wounded with ser Meoris receiving the more grave wound of the two. A severe gash had been made to his left cheek from the claws of a clockwork cat. He was immediately taken from battle and tended to by Doctor Aloria and Mistress Merrynn. When it was all over and done, the castle came out victorious with only two casualties and some wounds and bruises.

Commander Eeva, Captain Galatea, Knight-Lieutenant Darvius, Lieutenant Adahn, Serjeant Marcellius, Yeoman Celaena, Dame Hannah, Mistress Merrynn, sers Santilus, Meoris, Atmos and seras Juliee and Caillean were among the denizens who defended and brought salvation by winning another small battle for Castle Marrach.

This chronicle will be subject to changes and corrections, as I humbly ask that the readers indicate to me through their discretion any falsehoods I may have mistakenly communicated. It is by means of the conservation of the Past that we continue to serve Her Majesty and give substance to those that follow.

In service to Her Majesty Queen Vivienne, the Office of the Chronicler, and the Denizenry of our Gracious Queen's Realm,
