  • Twilight Music Event

Sixth day of the Fifth Moon,
    Ninteenth Year of Recent Awakenings

In accordance with the will of Her Majesty and in upholding the duties charged to me as Junior Chronicler, I hereby submit the account of
    The Twilight Music.

A jovial gathering of denizens was recently created from fine drink, warm company and scintillating conversation with mellifluous harp music accompanying the evening.

Held in the Sunset Room, people gathered around seven late bells for an evening billed as Twilight Music and Snacks, an evening social, with snacks, drink, and music.

This regular event is hosted by the Awakeners. The Royal Awakener, Master Morgenstern, graced the gathering with his presence. The music was provided by sera Caillean, who is a Senior Awakener. Everyone is welcome to attend, particularly those who are newly awakened though there were none present at the event this chronicler attended. Sera Caillean, the host on behalf of the Awakeners, said, "I love bringing music, and providing a warm atmosphere for people to relax in."

Offered as a splendid evening of delightful conversation and music, the event lived up to its word. The music was provided by sera Caillean and her beautiful harp which was custom-made to her design with carved vines and inlaid mother of pearl. It is held in the lap for playing. Refreshments were provided in the form of a selection of teas, mead, cider and juices.

After social greetings were exchanged and the harp was tuned, sera Caillean commenced playing. She began with an improvisational piece which was well-received. The second piece was whimsical and this was followed by a romantic tune full of passion. Sera Caillean demonstrated her versatility by finishing with a playful piece.

While sera Caillean played, the audience relaxed with drinks, cigars and lively conversation covering divers topics such as poetry, books, proposals, adventures, duelling and the Virtues. Some of the conversation was in a foreign language which this chronicler does not understand.

When asked for their favourite thing about the event, everyone put the music first. Socialising is also important - spending time with friends. Ser Meoris expressed the general feelings of all in the room when he said, "I come to most of them, and I am very much enjoying the music. Sera Caillean is a very talented musician. The event is popular for the company as well as her musicā

(Present were Master Morgenstern, Doctor Aloria, Mistress Josie, sera Juliee, sers Rhomulus, Enrico, Brohm, Mark Trevayne and Meoris. Also in attendance was this chronicler.)

This chronicle will be subject to changes and corrections, as I humbly ask all readers please indicate to me through discretion any falsehoods I may have mistakenly communicated. It is by means of the conservation of the Past that we continue to serve Her Majesty and give substance to those that follow.

In service to Her Majesty Queen Vivienne, The Office of the Chronicler, and the Denizenry of Her Majesty's Realm.
