    Penned on the 15th day, 4th moon, Year Twelve of the Recent Awakenings

    To the Denizenry of Her Majesty's Castle Marrach;

    In accordance to the will of the Lord Chamberlain, and in upholding the duties charged to me as a Junior Chronicler, I hereby submit an account of Guild Week's Quiz Night.

    Director Anton Blake of the Linguistic Project Assembly hosted Quiz Night in the Refectory on the 11th day of the 4th moon. Initiate Ra'Dorcha, the Patron of the LPA, along with other denizens, stayed to observe.

    There were twenty-five questions in total. The three teams wrote answers on separate scrolls, which were tallied by Director Anton afterwards.

    After a few ticks, Director Anton announced that there was a tie for second place between ser Kobe and ser Myrddin's team, and sera Louise and this writer. He asked a new question to determine the winner: How many languages can sera Jerisa speak? Before the bonus question was answered however, the sers forfeited to the seras. Ser Anton revealed the answer anyway; she can speak nine languages.

    The first place winners were Guildmistress Cordelia and Master Heath. Second and first place contestants each received a matching book and bookmark. The victors also won matching folders.

    This chronicle will be subject to changes and corrections, as I humbly ask that the readers indicate to me through their discretion any falsehood I may have mistakenly communicated.
