  • Import rights - houses

There always were some discussions on who can import what, so for your information and with hope this will further politics, here is a list. This list is subject to change naturally.

Doloreaux: all gems, all metals, but steel (cannons?)
Avoirdupois: expensive, fancy wines (grape based fancy ones), steel, fancy fabrics
Rinaldi: musical instruments, apple brandy, cartouche, gunpowder, alchemy based potions(?), and many things the other houses can not and will be priviledge items
Bisclavrets: all lumber, all pistols, certain mechanical gadgets
Sailors: anything in very small doses for compensation (they have special requirements for it, the leaders are aware of these)

The ones with the question marks are yet to be coded.

How they go about getting things on the auction house?
They file an assist (leader of the house or one permitted by the leader) and soon the item will be in the auctions. The houses do not profit from it directly, and anyone can by them, but the staff will ONLY put these items on the list IF the priviledge holder is requesting it.

This is by no means a full list.

            Doloreaux::
All gems, all metals (except steel), plants, herbal and fruit teas, beers/ales.

            Avoirdupois:
All wine, steel, fancy fabrics, cognac, all perfumes/colognes, face powder, high fashion garments, wigs.

            Rinaldi:
Musical instruments (except bagpipes), apple brandy/hypocras/framboise, cartouches, gunpowder, rejuvenation jars, draughts, make-up (except face powder), spices, dyes, nectar, glass objects, crossbows.

            Bisclavret:
All lumber, all pistols, certain mechanical gadgets, tartans, sporrans, whiskey, rum, woollen cloths (cashmere/angora), bagpipes, furnitures.

Sailors: Exotic teas, custom weapons (except crossbows), spices, moonshine, anything in very small doses for compensation. (Please @assist Trading if you want to discuss paying the guild to import something for you)

            Spices will be individually evaluated.

Scented oils can be imported by anyone, but perfumes/colognes will henceforth be imported by the Avoirdupois (we try to keep the list balanced).

If you feel something should belong to a different house and can provide reasonable logic as to why (IE, historically it came from a certain place relating to a certain house, please assist)

If something is requested that isn't on this list, we will determine as a group who the import should go to, if anyone.
