  • For any who remain awake...

On a parchment stained with dirt and ash, the following is inscribed in sooty ink:

Ruin has been brought upon the Sanctum once more. My condolences to those that lost personal possessions and precious resources.
I have resisted the call of the Age of Sleep to this point, but without followers to guide or serve, my resolve wears thin. I will likely join the rest of Uthgol's creatures in slumber. Should we awaken once more, I dearly hope that we will find ourselves in better company. Or, perhaps it is our fate to live on only in the myths and legends of the humans.

    Dream well,

Zetsu nods after reading the parchment
    He thinks to himself,

Perhaps you are right, Wyvern. Perhaps it is time to sleep.

    Zetsu sits down and ponders.....

I have very few reasons to stay awake lately. Perhaps it is indeed the time to extinguish my flames. The scientist Usuichii can just summon me back if ever he'll need me.

    Zetsu stands up and chuckles

But before I retire, I should burn some of Anuu's scrolls for old times' sake... and maybe eat all her pet turtles

Zetsu snaps his fingers and disappears from sight
<Usuichii the Vampire grumbles: [Still there, or be ye a ghost?]>
<Usuichii the Vampire grumbles: [Or worse, Zetsu?]>

Ahhh! I too, shall stomp about no more. Rest calls. Perhaps I shall awaken in a number of moons to once again terrify the uglies in Uthgol, but only Grendel knows for sure. I hate uglies. They have driven us monsters to sleep the long sleep.
