  • Very short wiry man at 4'3" weighing in at 48 lbs squatting near 240 lbs. Booya.
With the eloquence of a drunk eating his own puke, you stumbled through this fact completely oblivious.

    • Even if strength is bugged, that fails to address the points that have been brought up about overcoming someone's agility bonus with just skills.

Increasing the potency of all the other attributes might work. Then again it might just further encourage re-rolling.

      • I think, however, that if the courses were adjusted to mirror combat sp gains, etc., it might inhibit re-rolling, as it would appear easier at first to make gains with ones' stats.

        • That would last all of what- a few weeks?

People figure these things out pretty quickly.

          • Perhaps.

But if stats as they are were amped, maybe people wouldn't -need- to reroll, as the stats they get that aren't exceptional or greater will still provide good enough benefits.

            • At least it used to be possible and (though now it's less so) it still is possible to overcome agility.

You'll never be able to be as fast or as strong os others just through ranks.

              • Really?

How many ranks would it take to overcome a grandmaster with inhuman agility?

Just to overcome a newbie, it takes ~50. Now start thinking about how those diminishing returns are going to start weighing in.

And you're right about not being able to get faster or carry more with skills- but those effects aren't as drastic. It could be (and had been) argued that they were, but not anymore.

Shalini is 5'9", and 131 pounds. She can carry 217 lbs, max. That's at lower end good strength.
I went to a 7-11 and asked the clerk for five dollars worth of gas. She farted and handed me a receipt.

Her moderate weight cuts off at 75 pounds now.
she is about mid range good strength. (flipped her from f.g to good)
