  • Famous characters.

    Many of these characters also have a decent weapon arm, but they are not famous just because of their weapon ranks. Some don't know a weapon at all.

    Can you think of anymore that I'm missed or forgotten? I know there are a lot of early morning players that I don't know.

        What are the qualifications for "famous", anyway? I could make up a lot of different lists and call 'em "famous people."

        Drunser would fulfill a lot of those spots, anyway.

              What is famous?

              Famous is when many people know about you before you've even met them. Whether this is a good or bad reputation depends on the character. Some seek to be loved and respected by all, others seek to have respect by fear, intimidation, insanity, or outrageous behaviour, etc. Basically people who have made a longstanding mark in the TEC consciousness. Usually famous people use think often, hold public events, run player organizations, attend events, have a wide circle of casual friends (although many are actually reclusive), people refer other people to you because you have skills/talents they want, etc.

              Generally too, they have staying power and have been around for awhile. There are many shooting stars, but they are often forgotten just as quickly.

              Also, if poets, musicians, and writers make works of art about you, unless your their patron, it's a good indication that you might be famous.

              If you have a lot of famous friends and acquintances, it's likely your famous too.

                    I changed it because I thought at one time Wolke was in the legio, but I needed a famous fisherman too. ;-)
