  • Ox's Grace and Speed Drop

    Hey guys,

I've been trying to figure this out before I blow a bunch of stat increases on nothing (more or less nothing).

My character has ox's grace, and already is capped at 190/200 Dex.

I was wondering if the same is true for speed? I didn't know if she would be forever capped 1 second slower than everyone else at 190/200 speed.

Not sure, I had the same question.
I have noticed, Older characters seem to be locked into their original stats.

I don't recall where, but I have read in more than one spot the only way to get over 200 was to have a stat increase during creation. Apparently if you can not have a stat increased than you can not purchase the stat increase.
Both read, no first name experience.

This is very confusing. Maybe I can help. An unmodified stat can reach a cap of 200 points. The only way to augment that is to take certain traits. Traits give a percentage to a stat. For example, nimble feet gives a 5% bonus to speed and agility. 200 * 1.05 = 210. That will be the stat level reflected in your stats menu under normal conditions (not laying or high on Tale candy). 210 = remarkable.

Some older characters with trait bonuses for stats required a little GM help to refresh their stats. I believe this was a common problem. If you see wonky stuff you should @report it.
