As of today, Lead StoryCoder Aziel and myself, StoryCoder Kalle, are no longer StoryCoders for Castle Marrach.

Aziel, the first StoryCoder in the game, has been going at it now since GenCon 2001, which is over 2 years.
I've been around a little less. I became a StoryCoder in April, 2002, so almost a year and a half of service in the snow-covered halls of Marrach.

Although we could write several pages on how much we enjoyed the time as StoryCoders for Castle Marrach, we won't do that. We won't, because we're not done with you guys yet.

Skotos is growing. I'm sure you've noticed it as well. Things are happening; a lot behind the scenes, a lot right up there on the stage. A number of games are being developed, based on the core system Marrach is using. This brings us to the topic of why I'm still here writing; why we haven't said our thankyou's and goodbye's and gone out to grab a couple of self-congratulatory ales for the collected years. Aziel would like to point out that he has infact drank several dark beers. Whether or not this has anything to do with the switch has yet to be determined.

Well, the simple answer to that is we're not leaving. What's happening is that Aziel and myself are going to be Skotos coders, rather than Marrach coders.
What this means is that we will no longer do Marrach-specific projects. We won't code specifically for Marrach (or any other game, except on explicit request). Instead, we will focus on creating code that will be used on several games. Some of the things we will do are going to be noticed in Marrach. Some won't. It's going to be the decision of the respective game's LSC and LSP to decide.

We will still be around in Marrach to deal with whatever issues may arise that has to do with either of our many projects.
