[A dirty, overly handled and ink-smudged scroll]

Can you finish the Black Rose's story?

A while ago, the Black Rose shared with me a tale of many centuries past. There are pieces missing to this story. It went, something like this:

A long time ago there was a group of sorcerers, alchemists, and wizards.

A guild, if you will.

Caletus was the first sorcerer. But, the Castle being as it is, He could not become more powerful than Her Majesty would allow.

Caletus was loyal back then, if not suspect. After centuries of doing all that was asked of Him, He was approached by a young man who wanted nothing more in life than to learn magic.

But he refused to bind him, because Her Majesty forbode it.

For he was a prince, and part fae. He swore to Caletus that if he did not bind him, that he would find his own way.

At this part in the story, he stopped, and posed the question:

"What would you do, if you were a person who had lived life until that moment doing all that he was asked of by his monarch? Knowing that this boy, her son, would do this thing and surely die, but if you could help him there was a chance."

He was not Prince Bertram, but a son still of Her Majesty and the Lord Consort.

Allegedly, this son is hidden, slumbering. A son of both Queen Vivienne and Lord Boreas. A bound son. A sorcerer.

Whose true name is held by Caletus, and the primary reason they fear him. He could speak that name, and wake this boy. It was mentioned and assumed by Dame Keyana that he was hidden away because of winter. I do not know what that means, however.

Anyway, he bound this boy, and realized His power was not limited by Her Majesty but by sorcery itself. So he formed an order. The Order of the Black Rose. The Order was fascinated with the fact that a fae child could learn sorcerery. It made them think:

"Then why couldn't a wizard? Why couldn't we too learn alchemy and hedge magics, along with sorcerery and wizardry?"

Most of the group died trying to achieve such things. But five survived. Not including Caletus, who did not experiment along with them as he saw what it did.

He departed before he could end this tale. My assumption is that this group later, after the massacres, became the Triangle. Who is this Prince? Why is he hidden?

I do not state that anything written above is true. But if it is... Can you help?

For the love of history I bid the Castle a simple question: Can you finish the Black Rose's story?
