Announcement: An Open Call for Chroniclers
Good Denizens of Marrach;
In humble service to the Lord Chamberlain, I herewith post this call to all that should have talent, dedication, discretion, an eye for detail and a heart's desire to only serve Her Majesty with loyalty to this great office unto which we are called. Any who would serve as Chronicler are advised to read over these boards for examples of chronicles past, and scribe an incident of note in the styling of such as example. Incidents can include anything one has witnessed or heard of that is noteworthy enough to converse to another of; from an odd or strange occurence to a posted event or reporting of a recent meeting held. Blancheflour's missive states the details of our responsibilities and can be found on the Chronicler's Boards. Training will be under the watchful eye of either myself, Assistant Chronicler Arian or Assistant Chronicler Aislinn. Hard work, dedication and talent will be thusly rewarded. You have only but to look to any Chronicler either present or past to ascertain the magnitude of both joy and honor that serving the castle by the might of our pens and with grace and impartiality to our noble post provides. Such past Chroniclers include Chief Scribe of the Chamber, Master Angron; Royal Archivist, Mistress Avaria; Bodyguard to Prince Bertram, ser Rodeger; Royal Purse Bearer, ser Andrew and Secretary to the Queen, sera Astana. All can willingly attest to the richness and satisfaction that serving her majesty in such a tradition as our noble guild provides. As well, it is in such a spirit that I shall hold open Office Hours on this Sun's day, Second day of the Eleventh Moon at Six Castle Bells. All souls interested should scribe forth an example of thy work for our perusal and bring such at that time. Queries regarding this in detail may be directed to Myself or Assistant Chroniclers Aislinn and Arian for further explanation. In Service to the Lord Chamberlain, Sorcha Chronicler of the Court |

I have since updated our Current Roster, which involved removing ser Rodeger's name from the list of Juniors. His Highness' Bodyservant served us very well and left the Office on amiable terms.
With this I would like to draw attention to the three vacant Junior Chronicler positions and the single open Assistant Chronicler position as detailed in our Roster. As a Junior Chronicler, or Assistant for that matter, one is offered a number of opportunities to learn certain skills to which other denizens would not otherwise have access. Additionally, the position opens to a ser or sera a fathomlessly long corridor filled with doors and windows leading to lucrative opportunities. The Office of Chroniclers serves not only as a comfortable place to remain for a long duration of time, but also as a 'launching point' for many things in the beyond. Cultivate friendships, academic achievements, relationships, affiliations, and hone your writing skills with diligent and hard working denizens here who eagerly offer their support. -- sera Aislinn Assistant Chronicler [ooc: I feel like I just wrote a college brochure. "Come visit our campus today!" And I changed "Body Guard" to "Bodyservant" in the first paragraph. That's what I get for trying to write on such little sleep.]
