Castle Marrach 2003 Player Awards

The Award's Ceremony was held at the GenCon Skotos Party. In an Irish pub, I screamed over the over-crowded bar to announce the results of this year's Player Award's. We all had great fun, many beers, and many laughs. I would like to especially thank Christopher Allen & Shannon for their very thoughtful contribution to the prizes. You both are truly spectacular. Without further delay, the results are as follows:

SC Kalle received a soft, hand held puppet of a puppy dog that strangely resembles the pup of Marrach named Elmer

Who do you believe is the most accomplished character (PC)?

Lady Charmiam
Will receive an official Castle Marrach mouse pad

Who, in your opinion, is the hardest working character (PC)?

Apprentice Diana
Received a beer that she bought herself and a white Skotos T-shirt

Who is your favorite comic relief?

Who is the most notable good-guy in the castle?

Who is the most notable good-girl?

Will receive an official Castle Marrach Mouse Pad

Of all the couples in Castle Marrach, who is your favorite?

Gareth & Avaria

Who, in your opinion, is the most creative or artful with the parser?

Aislinn
Will receive an official Castle Marrach Mouse Pad

Who is the most heroic character?

Gareth
Received a brown hobby-horse that strangely resembled Busephalas

Who is the most unique character in Castle Marrach?

Sham
Received a lovely Marrach Mouse Pad.

Who is the biggest "smart-ass" of Castle Marrach?

Britta & Ryot (tied)
Both will receive beautiful mouse pads with Castle Marrach artfully adorned on the surface.

Who is your all-time favorite character (PC or NPC)?

Gareth
Received a white Skotos t-shirt

Who is your favorite Story Plotter?

Reveur
Will receive a "Why Yes, I am God" t-shirt

Honorable Mention:
Who would you most like to see stranded alone together on a desert island? (2 characters)

Sham & Quilp

For Receiving the most votes overall, Sham also received a prize of a free month to play Skotos games. WTG Sham... you rock!

Holy crap!

I won two?

I'm literally dancing, here. Oh, wait.

Well, not dancing...but I'm shuffling.

I'll email my address as soon as I reboot my computer. Low memory, my ass.

*cough*

Dare I mention WHAT Kalle did with poor Elmer two days later?

LOST HIM IN THE WASHING MACHINE!

*sniff* Poor Elmer arrived with the rest of the laundry wet and sopping. And clean.

Hmmmm.... I guess I shouldn't mention that we were in the Hall the other day and when I offered Elmer food, he didn't want it - but when I sipped my wine he whined hungrily?

At least he didn't take my glass when I offered it to him....

Yeah... poor Elmer was wet for hours. At least he didn't put him in the dryer? (Well... he may have, but thankfully I was doing the laundry.)

... Wow.

I only regret not being able to see Stacy trying to bring method to the madness of that Irish Pub (did they happen to let everyone in that night? Even the younger Skotosians?).

Uuuuuuuuuuuber thanks! Send my prize to Ryot's addy; I'm not at whatever address I gave prior to now (sadly), so crazy parents would merely intercept the mouse pad and most likely defile it.

Busephalas' adventure

Did I mention that deep within the bowels of the toy hobby-horse Busephalas is a tiny electronic device which emits the sound of a whinny and hoofbeats receding into the distance if you squeeze it just so?

The transportation security folks at the airport warned that it might qualify as a possible security threat on my flight back from GenCon.

Fortunately, we all made it back in one piece.

Congratulations to everyone, and thank you all for the memorable roleplay!

-Pete.

Jess,

Nope. The 21 and under crowd had their own little gig. Not quite sure what they did honestly.

Pete... does it really? Is Busephalis more special than I had originally anticipated it to be? *is hopeing she's not too gullable... but is really curious*
