A log. I think that everyone who was involved before Darvius came around will gladly say that I was RPing to the best of my ability. I did RP my escapes. The actions of the Guard simply disgust me, and I will openly say that I will never Roleplay with these two players again. OOC or not; I will either pull my door or log out. I was ready to simply cancel the plot and my account. I'm disgusted.

I remember the insults you flung last time. However, on topic now: How can you expect to hit darvius in a roleplayed duel when you wouldn't be able to hit him in one governed by mechanics? Nor does he have the skills to just 'cut briseis' when she's armed with a longsword and knows how to use it (despite her bloody bad history of dying on like, second hit) and you've been beheaded how many times and are armed with a knife.

Blech. Definately not GOOD roleplaying on my part, but what can you do? Yes, I stomped on his foot. I raised my leg first. He had grabbed me. I assumed we were close. Why doesn't that make sense?

Before I smacked him with the flat of my blade, he had cut me. If he was close enough to cut me with a dagger, why wouldn't I be allowed to smack him with my sword?

You quoted me, and you said the three of us were powergamers, except for Dannion. Unless either Darvius or Briseis count for 2 persons, you still included me in the lot.

The point is that I RPed out as many of the cuts as I could, while everyone except Dannion and Umichan simply ignored mine.

I didn't MEAN to ignore them. I'm not now. She's got at least a cut on her arm. As I said, I HAD tried to respond but the screen was scrolling fast for me and it wouldn't accept any of my emit commands. The parser's my weakpoint and I know it which is why I hate brawling.

Yes, Darvius can dodge a blade, but how well can he dodge a fist in the gut? That opinion is going to differ with who you talk to and it's not something that anyone is going to find a right answer to, because with this system, there is NO answer.

That's one of the big problems with the (lack of a) fighting system. It doesn't support any kind of brawls, which is going to lead in a difference of opinion and eventually a fight on the forums that turns into a flame war.

Why not just head that off and agree to disagree?
