Updated LPA Guidelines
Language Guidelines of the Linguistic Project Assembly
Eastern and Northern Eastern and Northern may be taught to newly awakened guests. Once a newly awakened guest has understood the basic fundamentals of a language {ooc: Fellowcraft}, they are required to obtain a letter of recommendation from the Leader of their Guild or Association on file with the Assembly before studying the comprehension concepts of the language. Honoured Guests do not require a letter as the Queen's Favour is recommendation enough. Royal Pages, Herald Pursuivants have been given explicit permission to learn Northern to full fluency. Their tabards and rankings on the Great Chain of Being indicate their office and are sufficient proof to qualify for instruction. Bound sorcerors and the Winter Watch are also granted right to learn Northern to full fluency. Teanga Teanga may be taught to certain Outer Bailey guests. Awakeners, Carpenters, Chroniclers, Counselors, the Courtesy Circle, Gaolers, the Gardening Society, Healers, Outer Bailey Librarians, Rememberers, Seamstresses, and the Winter Watch are currently allowed to study Teanga once verification of their association has been determined. A pin or other mark of association identifying one as a member of an approved society is deemed sufficient to allow a guest to learn the basic fundamentals of Teanga. However, an express letter of recommendation is required from the above-mentioned societies before a student may learn the comprehension concepts and above. Inner Bailey associations whose members may study Teanga are the Royal Guards, administrative positions in the Winter Court and Chancery, clerks and pages of the Court, and those who serve with the kitchens, crafts, or animals. Courtiers of the Court may study Teanga if they would. Western Western is rare in the Outer Bailey. Currently only Favoured Instructors of the LPA (with approval of board) and Chroniclers (with approval of Chronicler of the Court) are authorized to learn Western. Other scholars may study Western with the approval of the Royal Collegium or the Board of the Assembly {approved members of the Astrology Circle are eligible once they have completed a certain number of required tasks as determined by ser Dittersdorf}. Courtiers may apply to study Western if they can show need. Those who are not courtiers would need the sponsorship of a patron themselves eligible to study Western. Eme This Language is to be taught only to Sorceress Approved Students. Currently only Apprentice Elea or Lady Serista has final say on who can be taught Eme. Helena Witherspoon Director of the LPA |

Is this the most recent edition of LPA guidelines denizens should look to for reference? I ask with the interest of a Chronicler in that I would know what our Office's staff is authorised to learn with out infringing any contract made with the LPA.
My thanks for any assistance,

This seemed to be the most recent version of the guidelines, so it has been moved to the front for reference.
