Defenders of Letum

Be you Sentinel or Dark Moon, wanderer or Dragoon, all those sworn to defend Letum, harken to these words.

The one named Ryck the Sphinx has made war against not the Shadow Sentinels, but against the Plains of Letum themselves. By a calculated effort to draw in living creatures from the swamps, he has made clear his intent to both despoil the Plain with the presence of life, and make war against Letum's defenders by removing our ability to even leave our lairs.

I hereby proclaim Vendetta against Ryck the Sphinx. Let all who are sworn to Letum understand their obligation. Wherever the Sphinx goes, he shall find foes. Wherever the Sphinx goes, Undead shall strike him down. Wherever this Ryck goes, he shall be hunted. And this hunt shall not end until he has made clear to each and every defender of Letum that he respects the sanctity of the Plains... Or until he is driven, bloody, from the shores of Uthgol... Or until the magics of our Caste rob him of that energy called "life" for Eternity. This I proclaim, in the name of myself, in the name of the Shadow Sentinels, and in the name of all defenders of Letum.

To that vaunted "neutral" clan, the Guardians... You wish for peace. Yet your wish for peace, as all such wishes, has proven itself as a lie. You harbor one who has betrayed your peace. Either cast him out, and leave him to the just mercies of the Undead... Or realize that you cannot shield him, for the defenders of Letum are many, and their magic is subtle. Your Larou Valley, the depths of your lair itself... They shall not offer sanctuary. This too I proclaim.

That's an awfully nice speech, but if you really want to know...

Rozial forced those poor blossoms out to the fanes and thrones to kill the weaker monsters roaming around. We merely brought them back home, so they didn't harm any more little ones.

That was a great speech Cyrria, but truth be told it was I that took the flowers to special places around Uthgul. Ryck has no vendetta against Letum and has been very neighborly as of late. I did not do it to harm the young but I'm sure there will be collateral damage. Yes, it it true! I have learned to harness the flower power. The reason for this action is simple. I wish to destroy some of the pile of magical armor that Vorico brags about so much. The flower power can help me do that. I do however see the error in my plan. I will only take them to the throne for now as I know he cherishes his power and cannot stay away from there.

You might want to try bringing something that can hit me. Your flowers are truely pathetic.

You will not find Ryck alone....those who hunt him will have to deal with both of us.

...Inconceivable... I was wrong?

My apologies, Rozial, for endangering both you and the Plains of Letum with my words.

You were not wrong Cyrria. Ryck must of been the one that teleported my flowers back to our door. I just wanted you to know what I did. You did not put the Plains in anymore danger than what they are not always in Cyrria.
