@career skill boosts
On the first of the month, had you logged in during the previous two weeks, you character gets paid and a skill boost for the career they selected with @career. Every once in awhile, we get assist because people are a little confused with the @career screen. So I wanted to take a moment to help anyone who is confused.
After you have signed up for a job, you will notice on the left side of the @career pop-up that you can select a skill focus. For many jobs, there is more than a single skill and you need to pick one. Each one will look something like: perceptive (to level 4) This means that you can learn the skill perceptive up to level 4. If you are level 4 or higher, you do not get a skill boost from your career on the first of the month. To see what you actual skills are, use @skills. If there is a skill you could be improving and learning from your career, you should switch to that. Hopefully this helps out those that get a little confused by the difference in @career and @skills.
