I had thought it might be obvious, but the one-one-one fights you are engaging in in this tournament are challenges to prove your Prowess, not duels to settle disputes.
You are not required to wait until you are healed between fights. This should be absolutely no surprise to anyone who signed up for the tournament, but dueling with swords is dangerous. Maiming or death may occur any time someone draws a sword. Thusly, it is recommended (but not required) that a healer be on hand for any duel in which a participant is already wounded. I did challenge sera Kaori at the midnight bell of the 10th day of this 6th Moon. The duel was held honorably in the Practice Hall and witnessed by Doctor Diana, Dame Wilena, and ser Aratan. Blades were loaned graciously by the Doctor and Dame, and after a clean round I were found tae be the victor.
Mine appreciation for the duel and well wishes fer a speedy recovery tae sera Kaori.
